Our Draftstars team of the week was able to finish in 3rd place last week as we earned a nice return of $120 on our $15 investment. We will be looking to replicate that effort this week and we will include multiple Storm players that should benefit from a big match against the struggling Knights.
This week our team will be going over the entire round, which involves six different matches and has a $1,000 guaranteed prize pool!

Draftstars NRL Salary Cap: $100,000
Hooker
Isaac Luke ($13,250) New Zealand Warriors
Luke has bounced back to form over the last month as the Warriors are beginning to live up to their potential. Luke has also taken over the kicking duties from Shaun Johnson which will increase his DFS score.
Half
Nathan Cleary ($6,050) Penrith Panthers
Despite the Panthers losing their last two matches, Cleary has continued to score at a high level and is averaging 60 points per game. At such a cheap price and against the Eels this weekend he is a must have!
Centre
Euan Aitken ($11,650) St George Illawarra Dragons
The Dragons centre has always averaged a high score due to his base statistics and he is one of the best supercoach centres in the game. This weekend the Dragons take on the Titans who have a lot of injuries in the outside backs, we are backing Aitken to take advantage of his inexperienced opponents and grab a couple of attacking stats to improve his score.
Isaah Yeo ($9,150) Penrith Panthers
This is the third week in a row we will be picking Yeo and he hasn’t let us down yet. Picking the back rower at centre means we will get an increase in base statistics and last week he was able to show his strength and speed to cross for a 60m try.
Wing/Fullback
Suliasi Vunivalu ($7,800) Melbourne Storm
A trend is about to start where we will be picking a lot of Storm players as they are facing off with the Newcastle Knights. Vunivalu has made a huge statement since his debut earlier this season. In just 10 NRL games he has crossed for 16 tries and you would be a brave man backing against him to extend that record this weekend.
Ryan Morgan ($7,150) Melbourne Storm
Morgan’s career has been revitalised since his midseason move to the Storm and he is playing inside Vunivalu. He will likely be laying on the final pass to his winger or crossing for a try himself throughout the match.
Front Row Forward
Leilani Latu ($7,350) Penrith Panthers
The Panthers forward has had a break out season and is always in the thick of things for his side. He is a strong defensive player whilst he has the ability to pick up attacking stats to boost his score and for a cheap price he is a great choice.
Ryan James ($12,800) Gold Coast Titans
With an average of 63.4 points per game this year, James is a great selection for every Draftstars team. He is playing huge minutes in the middle of the field and he should get the upper hand of the weaker Dragons pack this weekend.
Second Row Forward
Kevin Proctor ($12,700) Melbourne Storm
Proctor is an 80-minute player on the right edge for the Storm and he will pick up huge base statistics. He has a great combination with Cooper Cronk and we are backing him to cross for a try this weekend.
Dale Finucane ($11,850) Melbourne Storm
Finucane has been great for the Storm since his return from injury. The lock will pick up huge base stats in the middle of the field and is one of the biggest workhorse’s in the league.
