Northam Greyhound Tips
Race 2 (3:42pm AEST)
Robinda was a winner three starts ago when breaking her maiden at Mandurah over the 302m. She comes up with box two today which could help as she has early box speed. It is her first look at Northam which will be the query and she meets a competitive field. If she can settle in the first two in running, then she looks a great chance of capturing her second win at start number six.
Race 4 (4:17pm AEST)
Em’s Lil Gem has come up a nice price from the outside box which has seen her win over 275m at Cannington. She hasn’t had any luck recently and her best form is good enough to win this race. She is one of the better beginners in the race and it wouldn’t surprise if she could spear across most of her rivals early. This is a very competitive race but the price is too big for the pink rug and she could land in the money after four consecutive unplaced runs.
Race 9 (6:07pm AEST)
Ironbark Lass finished third over 297m here last week. Her best distance is 500m or more with six of her seven wins over the distance. She probably can’t cross Fernando’s Jewel early, however, if she can stay in touch with that runner and not cop too much interference, she will go very close. Two and three starts ago the margin of defeat was 0.25L and 1.75L respectively and she looks ready to win again. Shinboner and Hello I’m Dom look the main dangers, along with Fernando’s Jewel who has already been mentioned.
Race 11 (6:52pm AEST)
Very keen on Mjolnirs Might from box three as he chases back-to-back wins after recording a 30.07 victory last week. Dainty Brae has speed inside as she jumps up from 405m to the 509m. For that reason, I am happy to risk her and go with Mjolnirs Might who has three wins to his name in 500m+ races. He looks extremely hard to beat based on his past two runs which have been from boxes six and seven.
