Caulfield Heath will host an eight race program on Wednesday and with the warm dry weather continuing the track is predicted to be a Good4. The maidens start us off in race one with two equal favourites in that one, but our three best bets come up later on in the program. Tres Magnifique looks hard to beat in race six, while Aleppo Pine (race 7) and High On The Hill (race 8) look hard to beat in the last two races. Check out our best bets below!

Caulfield Heath Racing Tips: Wednesday, April 29th 2026
Race 6: Evergreen Turf Handicap 1000m - 3:45pm (AEST)
(9) Tres Magnafique has won three out of her last four races and is in fine form. Two starts back at Bendigo she sat handy and won by 7L before going to Lakeside as a hot favourite and saluting again. Craig Williams is on top again and this filly is likely to shorten in the market. She is unbeaten over the 1000m and gets to see Caulfield Heath for the first time. One of the shortest priced runners for the day and she should be running during Spring.
(3) One Hard Lady comes over from country New South Wales and gets a 2 kilogram claim here. She has won third up previously and barrier two looks to be a good get.
(14) Saluted had a pretty good campaign last time and she has won first up previously. She has a good association with Jye McNeil who is on top. Might go better on Soft though.
(9) Tres Magnafique WIN
$1.90 (4 units)
Race 7: Tile Importer Handicap 1000m - 4:20pm (AEST)
(5) Aleppo Pine has drawn well in barrier to and he has raised in much harder races than this previously. The combination of Team Hayes and Jamie Melham looks promising and the three-year-old gelding did win when second up last prep. He won a Flemington trial last week and he was backed into second favorite last week at Morphettville when 8th beaten 4L.
(4) Along The River Is a consistent place together who is drawn inside here. He goes better on Dry ground and he has won four races over the trip.
(2) Aqueduct is over the odds in this race. He will go forward like he did last time at Ballarat when he got up (1000m). Going for three in a row. Jordan Radley rides and has won on top before.
(5) Aleppo Pine Each-Way
$5.50/$2.20 (1 unit)
Race 8: Sportsbet More Places Handicap 1200m - 4:55pm (AEST)
(3) High On The Hill is lightly raced but did look good winning a Cranbourne trial last week. On February 13 he was a $1.35 favorite at Kilmore and was way too good for them. He followed that up with a gutsy third a Caulfield. Freshened up again and ready to go. Ciaron Maher and John Allen combine again and they have a good strike rate.
(1) Empire Song Is fully fit now and gets a 1.5 kg claim for Logan Bates who is on top. Has drawn very wide in barrier 14 but he is 2 from 3 on Dry tracks. Usually settles on-pace so will want to get across from out there. Was only 2L behind the talented Oliveanotherday at Caulfield last start.
(7) Cattle Camp Is having his second start for Peter Moody and Kathryn Coleman. On debut he sat midfield and won well at Sale over 1006m. The extra distance looks fine.
(3) High On The Hill WIN
$5.50 (1 unit)
