PGA Tour Arnold Palmer Invitational Betting Tips

Bay Hill Club, Thursday 5th - 8th March

Top Picks

Collin Morikawa ($23)

Morikawa’s precision iron play makes him an ideal fit for Bay Hill’s demanding setup. He came agonizingly close to lifting this trophy last year before finishing runner-up to Russell Henley, and that experience should only strengthen his chances this time around. Bay Hill rewards players who consistently find greens and manage the course strategically, two areas where Morikawa excels. With his tee-to-green game among the best on Tour and confidence building this season, he looks perfectly positioned to contend again.

Tommy Fleetwood ($17)

Fleetwood continues to look like one of the most consistent elite players in the world following his FedExCup triumph in 2025. His well-rounded game suits Bay Hill, where players must combine strong long-iron play with patience in difficult scoring conditions. Fleetwood has shown he can handle demanding layouts and big-event fields, and his steady tee-to-green profile makes him a natural contender this week. If the putter cooperates, this could be the tournament where he converts another strong run of form into a marquee win.

Value Picks

Kurt Kitayama ($41)

Kitayama is exactly the type of player who can surprise at Bay Hill. His aggressive style and powerful ball striking allow him to attack the course’s longer holes, and he has previously proven capable of winning in elite fields. When his iron play is sharp, Kitayama can pile up birdies quickly while still managing the tougher stretches of the course. In a field full of superstars, he offers genuine upside as a sleeper contender.

Corey Conners ($79)

Conners has quietly built a strong record at Bay Hill and finished third here last year. His ball striking consistency is perfectly suited to a course where controlling approach shots is critical. While putting has occasionally held him back, Bay Hill’s demanding nature tends to reward elite tee-to-green players, which plays directly into Conners’ strengths. If he produces an average week on the greens, he could easily find himself back near the top of the leaderboard.

The Field

The Arnold Palmer Invitational once again features one of the strongest fields of the season, with every player inside the top 20 of the Official World Golf Ranking competing at Bay Hill. Scottie Scheffler leads the group and returns to a course where he has never finished outside the top 25, including victories in 2022 and 2024. Rory McIlroy also returns to a venue where he captured the title in 2018, while rising stars like Collin Morikawa and Viktor Hovland add further depth to the field.

Several storylines also revolve around players returning to action. Justin Thomas makes his first PGA Tour start since undergoing back surgery late last year, while Sungjae Im begins his season after recovering from a wrist injury. Both players will be closely watched as they attempt to regain competitive rhythm in one of the Tour’s toughest tests.

Recent winners are also back in the mix. Jacob Bridgeman arrives as the FedExCup leader following his Genesis Invitational victory, while Nico Echavarria comes off a dramatic win at the Cognizant Classic. With 700 FedExCup points on the line, the stakes are high for both established stars and rising contenders.

The Course

Bay Hill Club and Lodge is one of the most demanding venues on the PGA Tour schedule. The par 72 layout stretches over 7,400 yards and places a heavy emphasis on precise ball striking. Water hazards come into play on numerous holes, forcing players to carefully manage risk while still taking advantage of scoring opportunities.

Despite its relatively flat terrain, Bay Hill consistently produces challenging scoring conditions. The course’s firm greens and penal rough punish errant shots, while swirling Florida winds often add another layer of difficulty. Over the past decade, scoring averages have frequently hovered above par, highlighting just how demanding the layout can be.

Success at Bay Hill typically comes down to controlling approach shots and limiting mistakes. Players who remain disciplined and patient across four rounds are usually the ones still standing on Sunday afternoon. With a stacked field and one of the toughest setups on Tour, this year’s Arnold Palmer Invitational should once again deliver a compelling test of skill and resilience.
