Kembla Grange Racing Tips: Wednesday, January 28th 2026
Race 4: Metal Transport Industries Provincial Hcp Class 1 1200m - 4:40pm (AEDT)
(3) Firework: Resumed in excellent order last start, breaking his maiden in convincing fashion over this trip. Has clearly found his niche at the distance with a strong record of one win and two seconds from three attempts. Strips fitter second-up and looks capable of taking the next step now that the penny has dropped. Early market support is a positive sign and suggests stable confidence. Profiles as a solid each-way play.
(5) Aisle Two: This filly put together a tidy campaign last preparation, recording two placings before breaking through for a dominant 3L maiden win third-up. Has since been kept up to the mark with a trial leading into this first-up run and looks well placed to resume strongly. Draws nicely and gets the services of Tommy Berry, which only adds to her appeal. Genuine winning chance.

$5.00 (1.5 units)
Race 6: Express Smash Repairs 1300m BM68 - 5:50pm (AEDT)
(2) Octa De Lago: This bloke is flying at the moment, stringing together two seconds before breaking through with a strong win last start. Steps slightly up in trip, which looks ideal after charging home from the rear to overhaul them late in his most recent run. Rises marginally in class but, on paper, doesn’t meet a lot that genuinely scares him. Draws a favourable gate and retains Gibbons in the saddle. Deserving favourite and the one to beat.
(4) Cheeky Dancer: The roughie in the field but not without claims. Resumed off a solid break carrying a hefty 60kg over 1200m in a BM64 and was far from disgraced. Strips fitter second-up and benefits significantly from the 1.5kg claim, leaving her 4kg better off than last start. Dominant winner in this grade over 1350m last preparation. Draws a suitable alley and is well worth including at the odds as a genuine blow-out hope.
Also Backing: (4) Cheeky Dancer $17.00/$4.00 E/W (0.5u win / 1.5u place)
(2) Octa De Lago
