Geelong Racing Club hosts twilight racing on Wednesday with eight races to be held with Christmas parties being the norm on course in the coming weeks. It should be Dry conditions and the track is predicted to be a Good 4. Race one starts at 3:40pm (AEDT), and I have three best bets which are below. (6) Limosa is our first bet of the day with the Maddie Raymond & Patrick Bell maiden looking well.

Geelog Racing Tips: Wednesday, Novmber 26th 2025
Race 1: Ladbrokes Form Genius Maiden Plate 2418m - 3:40pm (AEDT)
(6) Limosa is up in distance and that looks ideal for her after she ran on very well last start for 2nd at Donald over 2200m. Before that on November 9 she was more than competitive over the mile at the same track when 4th beaten 1.5L. The stable knows how to train stayers and she is very fit now after a tough two months. Harry Grace rides.
(3) Up You Go settled handy when 2nd at Mornington last start over 2435m so he has already proven that distance is to his liking. Two runs on Dry tracks were unplaced though but has been backed in from $4.50 the last 24 hours.
(4) Wyndstar is in an in-form stable (Presusker) and this stable also knows how to train stayers. The $10.00 on offer looks too high. Place bet with Johnny Allen on.
(6) Limosa WIN
$2.60 (2 Units)
Race three: McGrath Estate Agents Maiden Plate 1114m - 4:50pm (AEDT)
(11) Lady Verity is resuming off quality Mornington jumpouts and looks the one to beat here. Before that she was very good when 2nd at Sale after settling 4th in the run. She ran on well on that occasion to just miss the win and was sent for a spell. She should have matured and learnt a bit from that and she looks better than these. Two good runs for two good seconds so far. Should get the dollars.
(2) Jade Trees is second up after running a good race for 2nd at The Bool last start. She is in the leading Hawkes stable and will be better after her first race day experience.
(9) Cuisine is having her first start for the Melbourne Cup winning McEvoy stable and she did lead on debut when 4th at Geelong for the Cummings stable before being transferred. More educated now and is an each-way chance.
(11) Lady Verity WIN
$1.70 (3 Units)
Race eight: The Todd & Kingy Time-Honoured Shield Handicap 1514m - 7:30pm (AEDT)
(10) Seethru usually settles handy and might settle in about 4th on the outside in this race. He has been freshened for this after running two 2nds and does like running on Good tracks. He has placed over this distance before and has won previously when Will Gordon has been on top. Down in class after his 2nd at Hillside last start.
(1) Fiasco Tess has won half of her races over this distance and she does like Geelong. Up in weight again and does like Soft tracks better.
(2) Lethal Thoughts has drawn wide in 11 and hasn’t placed this prep. Is over the odds though and he is in the leading Maher stable. He has raced in much harder races than this though and is worth some thought.
(3) Seethru Each-Way
$3.70/$1.60 (1U/2U)
