Two games this Sunday to wrap up AFL Round 15 action, and two very contrasting match ups. First up, it’s the “Expansion Cup”, and it could be one of their closest ever, as the bookies are struggling to split the Giants and the Suns. While that should be a great game, from a fantasy perspective, players might be more keen on tackling the Bulldogs and Tigers match later in the day.
As always, this is all about the daily fantasy and this Sunday slate draws another massive $50,000 prize pool at Draftstars in their main contest, plus more qualifiers for the $1 million AFL Star contest! In addition, there are a variety of alternate contests:
AFL $50,000+ Sunday at Draftstars
AFL $5,000+ Sunday High Roller ($150 Entry) at Draftstars
AFL $3,000+ Sunday Mini ($2 Entry) at Draftstars

AFL Daily Fantasy Lineup Tips: Round 15 Sunday
AFL Round 15 Sunday: Where to Attack?
Clearly the game script is setup for us to stack the Western Bulldogs against Richmond. The Dogs are overwhelming favourites and will probably get fantasy hungry against a Tigers side which leak points all over the ground. The Tigers concede above average points in every position, but they are particularly bad to opposition key forwards, wingers and defenders.
The Giants and the Suns is going to be much closer and perhaps harder to find value based on recent trends. The Giants don’t give away much at all. They’ve tightened up in the ruck and are the stingiest team in the league in conceding points to opposition defenders. The only area you might be able to exploit is the Suns who have been conceding above average points to inside midfielders recently.

AFL Round 15 Sunday: Our Value Fantasy Picks
Laitham Vandermeer ($7,750) / Lachlan McNeil ($7,780) are both in play in a great match up for the Dogs against the Tigers. If you're looking to save salary then these Dogs seem the way to go for value picks. Vandermeer has been consistent while McNeil might have a slightly higher ceiling if he can hit the scoreboard. Hopefully all of the Dogs join in the fun against the Tigers as 8-goal favourites.
Harry Rowston ($9,120) might be a good point-of-difference value pick for your team. Really liked the look of Rowston last week as he had 18 disposals and 6 tackles for 75 fantasy points in a full game. The most interesting stat was that Rowston was given 63% CBAs and this was with Green, Callaghan and Kelly all playing. He’s a former 1st round draft pick, so clearly the Giants rate him highly. If he gets that sort of CBA number again, then he should be good to hit value again against a Suns team that leak points to inside midfielders.
AFL Round 15 Sunday: Our Mid-Priced Fantasy Picks
Sam Darcy ($12,850) is a genuine superstar of the competition and this might be the last time you get him in your Draftstars lineups at a mid-priced salary. If you take out his injury-affected score, he’s put together scores of 115, 82, 128, 99 and 100 in his last five full matches which is excellent at this price point. No doubt Darcy is going to get plenty of attention from Noah Balta and the Richmond defenders (which might actually bring someone like Aaron Naughton ($9,990) into the game). However there’s also been talk of Darcy getting unlucky with some of the umpiring recently as well, so look for some cheap frees. No one can go with Darcy at his elevation, and he could easily kick a bag against the Tigers. He’ll certainly get plenty of opportunities.
You also have the option of taking Darcy in the ruck which might not be a bad option on this slate.
AFL Round 15 Sunday: Our Premium Fantasy Picks
Finn Callaghan ($14,520) has taken his game to the next level this season. He returned to the side last week after injury and was the difference in the Giants midfield. With six scores of 93+ in a row, including four tons, Callaghan is proving that he’s an A-grade midfielder. Gets a favourable match up here against a leaky Suns midfield and still at a good price compared to other premiums.
Bailey Dale ($15,020) just loves playing at Marvel Stadium and with an ideal matchup against the weak Tigers, Dale might get hungry to win plenty of cheap ball once again. Dale’s last month has included scores of 154, 112 and 127 so he has the ceiling that you have to back on this slate.
