Week 15 in the NFL kicks off on Friday afternoon as the red hot Kansas City Chiefs take on the Los Angeles Chragers. As always, Tom Kelly has you covered with his best bets for the week as well as betting tips for every game below.
Week 14 was a 5-9 week, with the record slipping further to 96-112. Boo. Still, there are 4 weeks and some 64 games to try to bring it home strong and put some respectability back into the scoreline.
NFL Week 15 Betting Tips
Kansas City Chiefs at Los Angeles Chargers

We start the week with perhaps the best game, a 53.5 total divisional matchup between the 9-4 Chiefs and the 8-5 Chargers. Mahomes v Herbert, it doesn’t get much more high quality or high stakes than this. The Chiefs usual studs in Hill & Kelce have been a little quite, but the quality is still there and they will be ready to play a big role tonight. Young RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire has been solid on his return form injury, and the Chargers have been susceptible to the running game in a big way all season. The defensive unit has kept 6 straight opponents under 20 points, including exactly 9 points in each of the last 3 weeks. Although only one of those opponents could be considered strong at the time of their matchup (the Cowboys).
The Chargers can increasingly rely on Herbert to lift in any situation, and look like they will have do-everything RB Austin Ekeler on board despite an ankle issue picked up last week. Keenan Allen will be back on board as the centrepiece of the receiving game, while all of Mike Williams, Jalen Guyton and Josh Palmer are increasingly able to make big plays or play a bigger role when required. Despite rookie head coach Brandon Staley coming from a defensive background, the Chargers have often struggled to slow opposition attacks down throughout the season.
The form lines are pretty clear, the Chiefs are playing closer to their best on both sides of the ball and have all the momentum. The Chargers are a quality team, but I’ll side with momentum and take the Chiefs in what I hope will be a very enjoyable game.
