Kembla Grange Racing Tips: Wednesday April 29th 2026

April 28th 2026, 4:09pm, By: Trent Orwin

Kembla Grange Racing Tips

Kembla Grange will host midweek thoroughbred racing in New South Wales with seven races scheduled. The first jumps at 1:15pm (AEST) and it is one of four Maiden races on the program. It will be mostly sunny on race day, so monitor the track conditions which are currently a Soft 5. The rail is out +3 metres from the 1100m to the winning post, and true for the remainder.

Trent Orwin is in the saddle to bring you his best bets from Kembla Grange below. If you're betting, then make sure you get full value for your bets by using our Dabble Code!

Kembla Grange Racing Tips: Wednesday, April 29th 2026

Race 2: Snap Printing Wollongong 3YO & Up Maiden Handicap 1300m – 1:50pm (AEST)

(2) Bello Cavallo returns to the races after a very brief spell. He has trialled twice since the break and was hitting the line nicely as the first five past the line all finished within two lengths of each other. Last prep, he was placed once in four attempts, but he did contest the Magic Millions Maiden Plate (1400m) where he ran sixth of 17 runners. He was last in the run and had to make the widest run but still found the line nicely despite covering all the extra ground. Looks a suitable race to kickstart the win column.

(1) Cool Rupert hasn’t missed a place in three runs and is first-up since October. He trialled well at Canterbury three weeks ago and should be ready to run a big race. Looks the main danger.

(6) Setta Icon can mix his form which can make it hard to follow. He has been runner up twice from four attempts this prep and has a fitness advantage over the top two chances.

(2) Bello Cavallo WIN

$1.95 (3 Units)

Race 5: The Man Walk Benchmark 64 Handicap 2000m – 3:35pm (AEST)

(5) Miss Stalwart comes out of stronger class where she ran sixth in the Murrumbidgee Cup (1800m) last start at Wagga. Prior to that, the Nick Olive-trained seven-year-old mare was runner up in the Gundagai Cup (1800m). Three starts back, she captured a Benchmark 74 Handicap (1600m) and drops back to a Benchmark 64 for this contest over 2000m. This is her first attempt at the distance, but her 1800m form has been good and she looks a great each-way play at odds.

(9) Beauty Swift is the most inexperienced runner of the field with the three-year-old gelding having his fifth career start. His run over 1700m last start was excellent when running second, beaten just 0.3 lengths. The first two in that race were drawing away from the rest of the field by more than four lengths and the extra distance looks suitable in this event.

(8) Luna Bay is a three-year-old filly that comes off a third placing over 2100m. Should be able to map handily in this and she won’t have any trouble running the distance. Each-way claims.

(5) Miss Stalwart E/W

$13/$3.50 (1U/1.5U)

Race 6: Mental Health Movement Class 1 Handicap 1300m – 4:10pm (AEST)

(4) Bang On Time started her career as a four-year-old mare and the patience paid off for connections at start number two as she broke her maiden over 1250m at Newcastle. Chad Lever retains the ride on the Kerry Parker-trained galloper and settling midfield would be a nice spot for her to be dangerous late.

(3) Mrs Maree is also a last start winner, breaking her maiden as a four-year-old mare also at her fifth career start for trainer Clarry Conners. Nash Rawiller continues to ride and he will be pressing forward in this field as the daughter of Written Tycoon loves to lead in her races when she can. Looks a huge threat to make it back-to-back wins.

(5) Me Me has had a long campaign, with her latest effort being a second placing at Hawkesbury over this distance. She has solid each-way claims in the event.

(4) Bang On Time E/W

$5.00/$2.00 (1U/2U)
