Horse Racing Tips: Tuesday, October 29th

October 28th 2019, 4:37pm, By: Luke Krahe

Welcome to our horse racing preview and betting tips for racing on Tuesday, October 29th.

Grafton and Swan Hill are the two horse racing meetings in Australia on Tuesday, with eight races at each track. Luke Krahe has done the form for both meetings and highlighted his best bets of the afternoon below!

Horse Racing Tips: Monday, October 28th

Swan Hill Race 2 (Market)

A maiden over 1400m kicks off our tips on the last Tuesday of October, not quite the exposure racing will be getting this time next week but there are winners to be found all the same. (1) Days Of Glory is a Michelle Payne trained gelding that has had 3 starts to date. He debuted more than a year ago and has had two runs back from a spell. The first of those was at Tatura on a good track where he sat three wide no cover throughout up on the speed, and although he was well beaten, he stuck on well enough fresh off a tough run. He then went to Donald and had support at better than each-way odds, sat up on the speed and looked the winner before being swamped late. He layed out down the straight there and gets the blinkers on for the first time, From the good gate John Allen should be positive and he will be hard to run down.

Swan Hill Race 5 (Market)

It looks quite an open affair on paper the fifth from Swan Hill, I am quite keen on (6) It’s Choux Time on the 7-day back-up. Two starts ago she ran on well in the Manangatang Cup, beaten under a length with a gap to third. She then went to a harder 58 at Hamilton this time last week, positioned up nicely but was a little one-paced. She does have some speed as we saw at her fresh run this campaign when she hit the line hard after being held-up, hopefully the quick back-up and the tongue tie added will reproduce it. Would love to see some money for her as well.

(6) It's Choux Time

$3.90

Grafton Race 5 (Market)

(4) Anacreon looks a new horse this campaign, before resuming this prep she was a 22-start maiden that had shown glimpses but was struggling to get that first win. She resumed here at Ballina over 1300m, didn’t have much luck before hitting the line well beaten under a length into second. She then went to Lismore and was held-up at a vital stage, again having no luck, making up good ground late in a race that has proved a good form reference. Last start here at Ballina, a track she seems to race well at, she finally got that monkey off her back with a crushing win. She sat mid-field before easing wider, showed a great turn-of-foot and looked to have hit the front too early before the turn. But she continued the run and bolted in by almost four lengths, with a similar run she can easily take that next step.

(4) Anacreon

$3.40

Grafton Race 6 (Market)

(5) Ceremonial Prince has to take the step out of maiden grade for the first time, but he gets the right race to do it. He had placed at both runs since resuming before going to Murwillumbah last time. He was very well backed from $4 in late, showed good tactical speed to lead and although he was all out late, he never really looked like getting run down. He has the wide draw which I see as beneficial, should be able to use that early to e to get across the field early and swing for home in front. Obviously, there are better horses chasing him here but at the double figure odds, he is worth an each-way bet to see if he can cross them early and get a breather mid-race. The danger looks to be the locally trained (2) Julianne’s Wish, she has good tactical speed also and will be coming across early. She is dropping in grade and has a great SP profile, I am banking on Ceremonial Prince getting across and keeping her posted.

(5) Ceremonial Prince E/W

$10
