If you haven't tried the massive daily fantasy sports tournaments at Draftstars yet, now is the perfect time as you can share in $15,000 for FREE this weekend!
To celebrate a big Week 2 of the 2016 AFL Finals, Draftstars are hosting a free-to-enter $15,000 prize pool DFS tournament for the Swans vs Crows game on Saturday night.
The free tournament will run in the fun 'turbo' daily fantasy tournament which makes it easy for anyone to play - regardless of their AFL knowledge, DFS prowess or even how much time they can spare before kick off!
Turbo tournaments are extremely easy and an enjoyable way to give daily fantasy a try. IN regular tournaments DFS players have a set salary cap which then takes some work and research to fit the players you want into your side. In turbo tournaments, there are no salaries, making it easier and quicker to make your team.
In the free AFL Finals turbo tournament at Draftstars this weekend, each entrant must choose six players to fill their teams, with each player being part of their own 'pool' of players who have a similar scoring capacity.
Every player on the field on Saturday night will then score fantasy points based on their kicks, marks, tackles, handballs etc - like SuperCoach or DreamTeam - and if your selection of six players scores more points than everyone else in the free tournament, you will score the largest share of the $15,000 prize pool... which in this case is a massive $2,500! That means for a $0 investment, you can win $2,500!
To give you a better idea, you will find each pool of players in the columns below, with their average score shown in parenthesis.
Swans v Crows - FREE $15,000 DFS Players Choices
As you can see, the fenise in DFS turbo tournaments comes in deciding who will have the best game in each pool of players. In the first column you will see there are the all the elite midfielders grouped together. You have to decide which one to take before moving on to the next group!
Will you take the ever-reliable Josh P Kennedy? Or will the high fantasy scoring ceilings of Dan Hannebery or Luke Parker entice you? What if Parker or Hannebery are tagged? Maybe Rory Sloane is the way to go...
There is no doubt turbo tournaments at Draftstars are a lot of fun and with this free tournament, there is no reason to not give it a go!
Good luck to anyone who plays!
