Day 3 of the WeSave! Charity Play saw three top teams struggling against their lower-ranked opposition. TNC Predator lost to Team Adroit, HellRaisers produced a giant upset to beat Virtus.pro and although EG won 2-1 against business associates, they looked very mediocre in their first game.
Day 4, the final day of semi-finals, will feature three regions. In China, we have EHOME taking on Vici Gaming, in Europe, Team Secret will try to justify their status of a favourite over Team Nigma and in South America, beastcoast will take on Thunder Predator.
EHOME v Vici Gaming (Monday 11:00pm AEDST)
EHOME will take on China’s number one ranked team and arguably the world’s second-best team, Vici Gaming. If this would be a normal tournament or a major, betting on anything else than Vici winning 2-0 would not be a wise move. But give the way this tournament is going with a lot of upsets, I am sure EHOME will fancy their chances an upset.
As the odds suggest this is a risky bet, but I don't think its as big of a difference between these two teams as the odds imply. Both teams are from China and should know each other pretty well and I am sure EHOME can make the surprise today.

Team Secret v Team Nigma (Tuesday 4:00am AEDST)
The last time these two teams met was about a month ago, at the WePlay! Dota 2 Tug of War: Mad Moon, where Team Nigma managed to upset Team Secret and win the match 3-2. It is also worth noting that it was their first loss in the 2020 season.
On paper, Team Secret are way stronger than the odds suggest. Sure, they lost to Team Nigma a month ago, but their skill level should be way higher than today's opponents. It will be a close match, but I am sure that Team Secret will be able to prevail in the end.
Beastcoast v Thunder Predator (Tuesday 8:00am AEDST)
Thunder Predator are coming into the match priced as underdogs, which is a little weird to me, as they look like in a better form than their opponent, beastcoast. Both teams were present at the recent ESL One Los Angeles 2020 South America Closed Qualifier with Thunder Predator taking the first place and beastcoast second-place finish. They also met in the Upper Bracket Finals, where Thunder Predator won quite easily in a 2-0 sweep.
TP already won against beastcoast at the ESL ONE Q, and I see no other way this match could go this time. Bet on Thunder Predator to deliver!
