Another great night of esports coming up this Tuesday, the 22nd of June and our gaming expert Michael Lee is back on the case with a full wrap up of the action in the ESEA Premier Season 37. Check out his three best bets of the night below.
Esports Betting Tips: Tuesday, June 22nd
forZe vs GamerLegion
ESEA Premier Season 37 Europe
ForZe enter the match on the back of a five-match winning streak against the likes of K23, EC Kyiv, ALTERNATE aTTaX, Nemiga, and Apeks. They are also undefeated in ESEA Premier Season 37 Europe, where they have won all seven of their matches, including against the league favourites, BIG Clan.
If I had to rank forZe, they're probably one of the best tier-2 teams right now
GamerLegion are in a fairly decent form, winning 68% of their matches in the past three months. During the ESEA Premier Season 37 Europe, GamerLegion suffered only two defeats against Movistar Riders and Sinners but won against Sprout, AGO, and Endpoint, which are teams I could put in the same category as forZe.
Adding to that, GamerLegion won against Anonymo and received a forfeit win against Izako Boars, who had to forfeit their match due to a scheduling conflict with another event.
Although forZe will most likely come out ahead, I think we are in for a much closer match than the odds suggest. GamerLegion played well against Sprout and Anonymo, and while forZe are a tad better than both of these two teams, GL will definitely fancy their chances, especially if we see maps like Mirage and Overpass. Bet on the series to go the distance!
BIG vs. Sangal
ESEA Premier Season 37 Europe
BIG are fresh off a disappointing 5-6th place finish at the recent BLAST Premier Spring Final 2021. They started the tournament strong with a 2-1 victory against G2 Esports, but then capitulated against the eventual finalist Natus Vincere and ended up getting eliminated by Ninjas in Pyjamas, who were playing with a young stand-in.
As for their ESEA Premier Season 37 Europe campaign, BIG have played a total of five matches. They won four against the likes of LDLC, Nemiga, ALTERNATE aTTaX, and Wisla Krakow, but lost against forZe.
I don't really know what to think about BIG right now. They have the firepower to be competitive at the highest level of CS:GO, but at the same time, they can lose against teams like OG and Ninjas in Pyjamas if things don't go in their favour.
There are also rumours suggesting that their star player İsmailсan "XANTARES" Dörtkardeş will leave the team to join a yet-to-be-announced Turkish super team with Özgür "woxic" Eker. Assuming the rumours are true, XANTARES likely isn't too motivated to keep playing at BIG.
Sure, Sangal are nothing special, but underdog teams like they always get motivated when faced against better opponents, and upsetting a questionably motivated opponent is definitely not out of reach. Bet on Sangal to keep it close!
BLINK vs. Sinners
ESEA Premier Season 37 Europe
BLINK opened their ESEA Premier Season 37 Europe campaign with four straight losses against stronger teams like BIG, forZe, LDLC, and NEMIGA. They followed it by winning the remaining four matches against Apeks, SAW, Aa, AND Wisla Krakow.
It is also worth mentioning that BLINK managed to take at least a map off their opponents in their first four matches. That's quite impressive since taking a map against the likes of BIG and forZe is never easy!
Sinners enter the match on the back of a first-place finish in the domestic tournament called Sazka eLEAGUE Spring 2021, where they beat two #100+ ranked teams; Entropiq Prague and Enterprise, which is not exactly a challenging task to do.
Prior to that, they lost two matches against Lyngby Viking and Dignitas at the Funspark ULTI 2021 Europe Playoffs 1 and exited the tournament in 7-8th place. As for their ESEA Premier Season 37 Europe tour, their record sits at 4-2; with wins against Movistar Riders, AGO, Sprout, and Gamer Legion, and losses against Sangal and a forfeit loss against Izako Boars.
I don't really get why Sinners are considered as the favourites to win here. They are a very up and down team, and BLINK are clearly in much better form, as their four-match winning streak would suggest! It should be an exciting match!
