Michael Lee is back with more Dota 2 betting predictions for Chinese Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) Tour 2 Division I on Tuesday, April 19. Today, he looks at two bouts, including Vici Gaming vs Team MagMa and EHOME vs Team Aster.

Vici Gaming vs Team MagMa
DPC China Tour 2 Division I
Team MagMa have yet to win a single series in the Chinese DPC and are 0-5 heading into their penultimate match of the tour. But even though MagMa have yet to win a match, they still have a chance at keeping their spot in the top league, but that won’t come easy.
MagMa need to end the tour with a perfect 2-0 record, meaning they need to defeat Vici Gaming and LBZS, which can happen, but I wouldn’t count on it. I can see MagMa winning against LBZS, but beating Vici might be too much to ask.
Vici Gaming are no longer the same powerhouse as last season, and that is evident if we check how much they’ve achieved so far. After five rounds, Vici are 2-3, which puts them in an interesting spot. With only two more series left to be played and two wins to their name, Vici can still compete for a spot at the Major, or they can get eliminated.
If Vici lose this match and if MagMa defeat LBZS, Vici will get relegated. On the other side, if Vici win against MagMa and EHOME on Saturday, they will earn the right to represent the region in the next Major. Clearly, this is an important match for both teams, so expect them to show their best side on Tuesday.
MagMa have not impressed me, and it shouldn’t surprise anyone to learn that they’re 2.50 underdogs against Vici. But I must mention that MagMa have been giving top teams a hard time in their series – so even though MagMa have yet to win a match, they have proven that they can be resilient.
Vici were quite underwhelming early into the tournament, but they picked up a win against Aster last week; but note that that match was Aster’s first of the second tour. Still, Vici played well and deserved to win, so I wouldn’t doubt their quality heading into this match.
I’m torn between backing Vici to win 2-0 and over 2.5 maps. On the one hand, MagMa have looked relatively solid, but Vici are the more talented team. At 2.50 on Vici to win without dropping a map, I’ll take a shot with them to crush MagMa.
EHOME vs Team Aster

EHOME lost 1-2 against Xtreme Gaming last week, which isn’t terrible, but I expected a lot more from EHOME, who seemed to have a lot of potential heading into the second DPC tour mainly due to their impressive performance in the first tour. Unfortunately, EHOME did not live up to the expectations and have won just two of five series.
It seems like EHOME is a solid mid-table team that does well against bottom feeders but struggles when faced with teams that belong in the top half of the table. Regrettably, Team Aster belong in the latter category.
Team Aster played their first DPC match last Tuesday, when they lost against Vici Gaming (1-2), but have since picked up two wins against MagMa (2-0) and Xtreme Gaming (2-0). Now they’re getting ready for a very challenging final week, as Aster still need to face EHOME, Royal Never Give Up, and PSG.LGD.
Aster are 2-1, which is a decent record, but I can’t ignore how shaky Aster looked in their series against MagMa last week. They also lost against Vici, which is alarming, granted it was Aster’s first series of the tour.
Aster look like a better team, but realistically, I haven’t seen enough from them to say they will have an easy time against EHOME. No result would surprise me, but I need to see more from Aster before I bet on them.
