PACT vs LookingForOrg

Pinnacle Winter Series 2 Regional Swiss Stage

PACT have not been too active of late. Since the player break, they have played only three official matches, including a 2-1 win against cowana, and two 0-2 defeats against Nemiga and Los Reyes. It's also important to mention that PACT made a roster change last month when the team added Martin "maaryy" Nakonieczny as a replacement for Kamil "Sobol" Sobolewski, who left for Wisla Krakow.

LookingForOrg (formerly ex-Dire Wolves) are an Australian CS:GO team that is currently competing in Europe. Their trip to the Old Continent started about three weeks ago, and they have since managed three wins and four defeats. That includes losses Eternal Fire, Tricked, Wisla Krakow and Team Unique, and wins against MASONIC, HAVU, and AGO.

Those are decent results, but nothing to write home about. I must also mention that in every single match, LookingForOrg had to play with a stand-in to replace Mike "apoc" Aliferis, who wasn't able to help his team due to personal reasons. But he is now back, so the team should be ready to show what they're capable of.

LookingForOrg are in Europe with a mission to showcase their talent to the rest of the world and potentially get spotted by an organisation that will sign them. I don't expect them to start beating on some of Europe's top teams, but if LookingForOrg want to be taken seriously, they need to be winning games like this. Bet on LFO to win!

Savage vs Spirit

Pinnacle Winter Series 2 Regional Swiss Stage

Savage enter this match with a 66.7% win rate across the past three months, but they were mostly winning against weaker teams, so I would not put too much weight on that figure. Even though Savage have some former CS:GO starts on the roster, the Swedes have yet to show anything to feel excited about.

Following a disappointing run through 2021, the management of Team Spirit had enough of bad results and benched half of their roster. Leonid "chopper" Vishnyakov was one of the first players to get shown the doors, but he has now returned to play alongside Spirit academy players, including Pavel "s1ren" Ogloblin. So while Spirit lost some firepower by removing Nikolay "mir" Bityukov, their new roster looks solid.

With a new lineup, Spirit should be able to turn a new leaf as they enter the 2022 season, and we can assume that the morale in the team should be good. We don't know how good Spirit will turn out to be, but I expect them to be competitive, and you can't help but feel confident in their chances to defeat Savage, who have looked good but only against weaker teams. Bet on Spirit to win.

1WIN vs 00Nation

Pinnacle Winter Series 2 Regional Swiss Stage

1WIN have averaged a 48.3% win rate across the past three months and are 2-3 across their last five matches, with wins against Nemiga and Into The Breach and defeats against Eternal Fire, Sprout, and Nemiga. 1WIN have been trying to make a name for themselves and even signed former NAVI player Egor "flamie" Vasilyev, but until they show a bit more, I would still consider them a tier-3 team.

00Nation recently benched Vito "kNgV-" Giuseppe and parted ways with coach Raphael "cogu" Camargo, who got replaced by João "righi" Righi. Those changes came as a response to 00Nation's poor showings, but even though the Brazilians have not looked too good of late, they should feel confident about their chances to win against 1WIN.

When you have players such as Marcelo "coldzera" David and Vinicius "v$m" Moreira in your team, a team like 1WIN doesn't really scare you. The only worry for me here is that coldzera could once again try to fill the role of an IGL, which sound idiotic to me. The guy is a fragger, (a little washed-up but still a good player), so it doesn't make sense for him to be the in-game leader and instead focus on what he does best – fragging.

This will be 00Nation's first match with a new squad, so I expect a bit sloppier performance, but the star power of coldzera and vsm should prevail at the end. Bet on 00Nation to win.
