BEST BETS
Doomben Race 6 - #12 Pepperano @ $4.60
Pretty smart mare who has ammassed over 400k in prizemoney in just nine career starts. She is much better suited back to this grade however and we expect they keep her as an out and out sprinter this time around. She should get the perfect run on the leaders back from barrier two with M Cahill on board. Trialled up nicely for this with a victory at Deagon over 1050, a repeat of her first-up performance from last prep will see her figure in the finish.
Sandown Race 3 - #3 Spanish Love @ $3.60
She gets the big stable change from Kavanagh to Weir and looks too good for this lot if she is anywhere near her best. It appears the Weir camp are taking a look at her as they have removed most of the gear she normally carries and found a pretty easy race for her to go around in. With that being said, she was 0.7 lengths off Spreadeagled in an open BM84 at this track fresh in July, holding residual fitness for this we see no issues with 2000m and she will be awfully hard to hold out late.

Sandown Race 6 - #10 She Brings Hope @ $21/$5.00
Interesting race, pretty hard to bet with confidence on any of the runners in single figures as this field is really hard to split. She Brings Hope is worth a thought. She is hard fit now with four runs under her belt this preparation and looks set for a peak run. We've rated her $12 given how well she sets up on the speed map and the fitness advantage she has over some of her key values. Well worth a play, especially around the $5 to place range.
