Just eight teams remain in the 2020-21 UEFA Champions League and the quarter finals get underway this week with four massive matchups! The games will take place on Wednesday and Thrusday morning (AEDT) and as usual, we have you covered with our best bets for the quarter finals below.
Champions League Quarter Finals Betting Tips
Manchester City vs Borussia Dortmund
Wednesday 5am (AEDT)
Manchester City have ran away with the EPL title race over the last few months. They currently sit 14 points clear atop the table through 31 games and would need something drastic to happen to squander their lead. Their focus will now switch to a massive matchup against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League, where a win would send them into their first semi-final since the 2015-16 season.
Dortmund has been only average by their lofty standards in the Bundesliga so far. They currently sit in 5th place with a 13-4-10 record and they are coming off a disappointing loss to Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday night.
Dortmund have a fantastic record against Manchester City, having never lost to them in five competitive games, winning three of them and drawing two. They do have some key injuries heading into this clash though, with the likes of Jadon Sancho, Marcel Schmelzer and Axel Witsel all missing the clash. Manchester City should win this clash at home but I think Dortmund have the tools to find the back of the net at least once, especially with the form star striker Erling Haaland is in.

Real Madrid vs Liverpool
Wednesday 5am (AEDT)
What a mouth-watering matchup this is set to be. Two of the best teams in the world will square off here as Spanish juggernaut Real Madrid host English powerhouse Liverpool from 6am on Wednesday. Liverpool will certainly be disappointed with how they have played in the EPL over the last few months, slipping all the way to 6th place with a 14-7-9 record. They have, however, won their last two games on the trot over Wolves and Arsenal on the road to keep their top four aspirations alive.
Real Madrid currently sit second in the La Liga, just three points behind their cross town rivals, Atletico Madrid. They have won their last four games on the trot over Elche, Atalanta, Celta Vigo and Eibar.
Both teams are battling injuries heading into this match, with Real Madrid set to be missing Carvajal, Hazard, Ramos and Valverde while Liverpool will be without Gomez, Henderson, Matip and van Dijk. Tough game to call but with Liverpool’s issues this season, it’s hard to bet on them on the road in Madrid.
Bayern Munich vs Paris Saint Germain
Thursday 5am (AEDT)
Another absolute monster clash which pits arguably the best two teams in the world right now against eachother. Bayern Munich has been absolute unstoppable in their domestic competition this season, sitting atop the table with a 20-4-3 record. They have won their last seven games across multiple competitions and in those seven games, they have accumulated a combined 23-7 goal aggregate.
Paris Saint Germain have hit a bit of a snag in the Ligue 1 of late. They have lost two of their last three games and slipped to second on the table behind Lille. They have plundered a whopping 67 goals this season, more than any team in the big five European leagues except for their opponents on Thursday morning.
Really tough matchup to call here but Bayern Munich seem to have the slight advantage on both form and the fact they will be at home. They have also won their last three in a row against PSG, back them to win on Thursday morning at home.
