AFL SuperCoach 2026: Best Premium & Value Picks

Top Premiums to Build Around

These are the reliable big scorers that will carry your team through the tough weeks.

- Marcus Bontempelli (Western Bulldogs, MID, $706,800): The Bont is still elite, averaging close to 127 with his clearance work, goal-kicking, and sheer accumulation. The early Dogs bye is annoying, but when he's on, no one has a higher ceiling. Captaincy gold on his day.

- Nick Daicos (Collingwood, MID/DEF, $628,000): Effortless ball-winner who racks up points in any conditions. Dual-position status makes him incredibly valuable, and he's a captain lock for most coaches.

- Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera (St Kilda, DEF, $622,300): One of the most popular defenders and for good reason. His kicking is pinpoint, and he's locked in for consistent 100+ scores. Pure set-and-forget.

- Harry Sheezel (North Melbourne, MID/FWD, $580,000): At 70% ownership, he's everywhere. Versatile, clean, and always involved. The ultimate flex player when byes or injuries strike.

- Tristan Xerri (North Melbourne, RUC, $687,300): Top-owned premium ruck for good reason. Dominates hitouts and scores heavily around the ground. A genuine premium option.

- Max Gawn (Melbourne, RUC, $689,600): The beard's floor is rock-solid, and his marking and scoring outside stoppages keep him among the best. Safe and reliable.

Value Midpricers You Need

These underpriced players have real breakout upside. Grab them early and watch the cash flow.

- Sam Flanders (St Kilda, FWD, $396,600): 64% owned and flying up teams. Coming off a down year, he'll getting more midfield time at the Saints and is priced way too low. Should be a 100+ average forward. One of the steals of the year.

- Hayden Young (Fremantle, MID, $389,000): Dual-pos flexibility and one of the nicest kicks going around. He's primed for a big jump in price if he can stay on the park.

- Keidean Coleman (Brisbane, DEF, $233,800): Injury-discounted but showed 90+ ability before going down. In that Lions backline, he's a bargain with massive upside if he stays fit.

Cash cows win seasons. These are the ones with job security and genuine scoring potential.

- Jagga Smith (Carlton, MID, $119,900): 75% owned and the clear top rookie. Former top 10 draft pick, elite disposal, and a Round 1 midfield spot. He'll make money quicker than almost anyone.

- Liam Reidy (Carlton, RUC/FWD, $119,900): Dual-position ruck depth at basement price. 64% ownership reflects his security. Ideal for loops and emergencies.

- Dyson Sharp (Essendon, MID, $149,500): High ownership and expected to hold his spot in the Dons' midfield. Safe, steady cash generator.
