AFL Daily Fantasy Lineup Tips: Round 14 Sunday
AFL Fantasy Round 14 – Sunday: Where to Attack?
Brisbane looks like the clear standout target in the early game. Richmond continue to give up huge fantasy numbers across almost every position on the ground, with their only real area of resistance coming against designated kickers, which is more a reflection of how rarely teams are forced to defend deep in Richmond’s forward half than any genuine strength.
That sets up a very strong attacking environment for Brisbane’s midfielders and forwards, with multiple Lions likely to see plenty of uncontested possession and scoring opportunity throughout the afternoon in Hobart.
The flip side of that is Brisbane defenders, who we will be avoiding in this matchup, but fortunately St Kilda are also on the slate. The Saints continue to be one of the most consistent fantasy leak teams in the competition, giving up strong scores to all types of defenders, intercepting, running and designated kickers alike. That makes them the perfect opponent for GWS defenders.
The Giants also bring a major fantasy angle through the ruck, where they remain one of the most generous sides in the league.
Game Script – Brisbane forwards and midfielders, Saints ruck, GWS defenders
AFL Fantasy Round 14 Sunday: Our Value Fantasy Picks
Conor Stone ($7,960) - Stone has only a handful of games under his belt across his AFL career but has now strung together two consecutive appearances where he has averaged 60 fantasy points. His role as a running half-back/wing type fits perfectly into this matchup against St Kilda, who consistently allow strong scores to this archetype, making him a very appealing value option if he holds his spot.
Campbell Lake ($6,000) - Lake produced just 38 fantasy points on debut last week, but there were still encouraging signs in both his speed and ability to impact the game in bursts. Primarily a forward who can rotate through the midfield, the fact he was selected on the field rather than the extended bench suggests the coaching staff already see him as part of the best 22, which is enough at basement price in a slate like this.
AFL Fantasy Round 14 Sunday: Our Mid Price Fantasy Picks
Cam Rayner ($10,220) - Rayner remains one of the most frustrating yet tantalising fantasy players in the competition, capable of looking like a superstar one week and quiet the next. This feels like one of those weeks where everything lines up, with Brisbane expected to dominate Richmond and Rayner likely to spend time both forward and through the midfield. If the Lions get rolling, he is the type who can absolutely pile on.
AFL Fantasy Round 14 Sunday: Our Premium Fantasy Picks
Zac Bailey ($14,490) - Bailey offers a similar scoring profile to Rayner but with a touch more reliability, and the absence of Lachie Neale should only increase his midfield exposure. He continues to find the scoreboard consistently while maintaining strong possession output, and this matchup against Richmond sets up as another opportunity for him to produce a ceiling performance in what should be a comfortable Lions win.
Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera ($15,190) - Wanganeen-Milera returned from injury last week and wasted no time reminding everyone of his elite ball use and accumulation ability, finishing with 32 disposals for 105 fantasy points. He has averaged 109.8 across his last six games and continues to be one of the most damaging running defenders in the competition, with this matchup against GWS setting up perfectly for another high-end scoring performance.
