AFL Daily Fantasy Lineup Tips: Round 14 Sunday
AFL Round 14 Sunday: Where to Attack?
The obvious spot to attack on this slate is in the ruck where we have the two teams that concede the most points to opposition ruckmen in the league up against two of the premium rucks in the competition. Port Adelaide and West Coast haven’t been settled in the ruck in a long time, and both teams have brough in extra reinforcements, but it’s going to be tough work up against the powerhouses of Max Gawn and Tom De Koning. The only question will be is can you afford them?
Port have also been giving up points to opposition key forwards, however that’s not really a strength of the Demons. Port have been much better in restricting general forwards.
The Demons haven’t been too bad in conceding points but they do give them up to opposition wingmen and designated kickers.
Carlton stacks should prove popular with West Coast sitting on the bottom of the ladder and the Blues entering as four goal favourites. It’s no surprise that the Eagles give up the league worst points to opposition forwards so expect to see the Blues cash in.
Game script: Blues/Demons rucks, Power wings/defenders, Blues forwards
AFL Round 14 Sunday: Our Value Fantasy Picks
Hudson O’Keefe ($7,000) was very impressive on debut last week with a tidy score of 56. O’Keefe really threw himself into the contest and was happy to compete in the air and on the ground. If you want to pivot in the ruck position, he might be an option as he could jag a couple of goals up forward, or spend time in the ruck if the Blues want to put TDK on ice late in the game.
Cooper Lord ($9,280) might be the one who benefits most from the injury to Sam Walsh at Carlton. Lord has already put together a great month with four scores in a row above 71, and looks ready to take on more responsibility in the middle of the ground. With Walsh out, there’s midfield minutes up for grabs so Lord’s role looks secure. He also has a great match up against the Eagles to hit value once again.
AFL Round 14 Sunday: Our Mid-Priced Fantasy Picks
Jason Horne-Francis ($12,810) returns from injury and although that poses some risk, he looks cheap enough to be in play. If you take away his injury-affected score, JHF had six scores in a row of 83+ including three tons and a high of 125. Great numbers for this price.
Sam Docherty ($13,760) has put together back-to-back games of 112 which is fantastic scoring for under $14k. Docherty has enjoyed a shift back to his distributor role in defence and linking up for plenty of cheap marks with 13 of them last week. The Eagles shouldn’t apply too much pressure back there, and they were particularly inaccurate last week which means plenty of kick-ins for Docherty to get amongst.
AFL Round 14 Sunday: Our Premium Fantasy Picks
Max Gawn ($18,010) / Tom De Koning ($16,460) are the obvious premium spots on this slate as both draw incredible matchups against weak opposition. The only question is can you afford them?
Gawn is averaging 115.9 this season and can easily go 150+ here, but that’s the mark you’re really looking for at a staggering $18k price tag.
De Koning was enormous last week against a weak opponent, and could do the same again, but his price is getting up there. It’s worth noting that Xerri scored 111 last week against Flynn, which is the minimum score you’re going to want to see from TDK.
Heres our Suggested Draftstars Lineup for AFL Round 14 Sunday

Weather for Sunday June 15th 2025
Adelaide - Mostly cloudy, 15 degrees.
Perth - Light rain, 20 degrees.
All clear in Adelaide, but some light rain is forecast for Perth. The bookies don’t think it will be much judging by their points line, so hard to see it having too much affect on fantasy scoring.
