The Course
Real Club Valderrama is considered by many to be the crown jewel of the LIV Golf schedule. Originally designed by legendary architect Robert Trent Jones Sr., the course first opened in 1974 before undergoing extensive enhancements under owner Jaime Ortiz-Patiño in the 1980s.
The venue's reputation was cemented when it hosted the historic 1997 Ryder Cup, becoming the first continental European course to stage golf's most famous team event. Since then, it has remained a staple of elite professional golf and consistently ranks among the best courses in the world.
