Cricket Australia have publicly displayed their support for the continued growth of the Women’s Big Bash League this week as they announced the 2018-19 season fixture, which features some great news for WBBL fans.
After the first three WBBL seasons featured finals matches that were curtain raisers to the men’s games, the WBBL will now host three standalone finals games in 2018-19. The two semi finals and the final will be hosted by the team that finishes higher on the ladder, replicating the BBL format and giving the women’s teams extra incentive to finish on top of the ladder.
Fox Sports have also thrown their support behind the WBBL by announcing that they will be broadcasting 23 of the matches, while Cricket Australia will stream all remaining matches on their website.
The WBBL04 fixture kicks off on the 1st of December with a full weekend carnival which will feature all eight teams playing over two days! Check out the full list of games below.
