Spring racing is fast approaching and the first big meet of the season is upon us with the Memsie Stakes from Caulfield on Saturday. This Group 1 race has attracted a sensational field and as long as he rain stays away, we should be set for a thrilling day of racing.
One of the best ways to get involved on Memsie Stakes Day is through the massive Tournament of the Month at TopBetta. With a guaranteed prize pool of $15,000, that number is expected to be easily surpassed for the $550 buy-in event, leaving a solid five figure score for the eventual winner.
Horse racing tournaments are a lot of fun and they are a great way to be involved on race day without having to reach into your pocket for every race.
Once you buy-in, you’ll be given a start bank of T$25,000 TopBetta tournament dollars. They don’t have any real cash value, but you use those TopBetta tournament dollars to bet on any or all of the races at Caulfield on Memsie Stakes day this Saturday. At the end of the day, those who have made the most profit from their bets during the day will share the spoils of the prize pool!
It’s a great way to bet because you aren’t risking real cash on each race. So you can splash around on every race, or bet however many horses you like, and you’re only ever risking your initial buy-in to the tournament.
On the day, there will be plenty of friendly banter in the “Sledge Box” and betting strategies will come into play. Remember, you only have to win more than your rivals to come out on top! Sometimes no bet is the best bet!
To join in the fun, click here to open a TopBetta account and make a deposit. TopBetta will have tournaments running right throughout the Spring racing carnival for a range of buy-in levels. There’s also tournaments running every week for NRL, EPL and AFL!
We hope to see you in the field for the Tournament of the Month this Saturday for Memsie Stakes Day, and we hope to be writing about you winning more than $10,000 in prize money!
