Warwick Farm is the racetrack for Wednesday’s midweek thoroughbred action in New South Wales. Seven races are scheduled with the rail out +5m from the 1000m to the winning post, and +3m for the remainder. The track is currently a Soft 6 but must be monitored as sunny and cloudy conditions are predicted leading up to and on race day. Three maidens will start the program before we get stuck into Benchmark 72 Handicaps for the remainder of the meeting.

Warwick Farm Racing Tips: Wednesday, May 6th 2026
Race 1: Asahi Super Dry Handicap 1300m – 12:45pm (AEST)
(1) Graffiti Tycoon looks superbly placed to capture this Super Maiden over 1300m after a pair of runner-up performances. Despite being beaten at $1.75 last start, Tom Charlton’s three-year-old gelding was warming to the task late, finishing 0.83 lengths from Loera who got a big break on him in the run. He boasts the best sectionals in the race and deserves to break the maiden. Hopefully he doesn’t settle too far back, which is the main query.
(6) Konsa had three runs in his first preparation before being turned out. A pair of trials should have him in good stead, but he may still need the run here. The gelding will be somewhere near the rear of the field and should be doing his best work from the 800m to 400m if previous runs are anything to go off.
(2) Condone is also resuming and trialled well leading into this event. He will be hoping to lead from the middle gate and looks a threat in the race. His debut run was nice before a forgettable second-up performance.
(1) Graffiti Tycoon WIN
$1.65 (3 Units)
Race 4: Catanach’s Jewellers Handicap 1100m – 2:30pm (AEST)
(5) Zale has had a very long preparation but continues to race well, including a second placing at Canterbury Park. That was his third time as runner-up from his last five attempts. Winona Costin may tuck in just behind the speed from gate one to give the five-year-old gelding every chance in the home straight. He won’t be bothered by a Good or Soft track either. Gets the nod here in a very competitive race.
(1) Rimbaud resumed with a fourth placing at Warwick Farm and will strip fitter for this effort. He should also map fairly well in this event and has been placed in three of his four second-up runs. Looks a major contender here.
(6) Against The Law hasn’t been far away in recent runs and gets another opportunity to try and break through for a third career win. Each-way hope in the race.
(5) Zale WIN
$4.40 (1.5 Units)
Race 5: Hyland Race Colours Handicap 1600m – 3:10pm (AEST)
(13) Superfabulistic has been racing consistently this preparation without winning, running three-straight minor placings. From gate four with the lightest weight, jockey Rachel King should be able to find a prominent position in running and stretching out to the mile looks ideal. She looks ready to win and this could be the race.
(2) Southern Prince won a pair of races back in the latter half of 2025 and his first-up third placing at Newcastle was full of merit. Back in October, he was thrown into the Group 1 Spring Champion Stakes (2000m), finishing fifth behind Attica. He could surprise here at odds and happy to have something small on him also.
(4) Is It Spectacular is a last start winner at Newcastle over 1500m. Prior to the win, he ran seventh in the Listed Canberra Guineas (1400m). Will need luck from the barrier but has each-way claims in the race.
Also backing: (2) Southern Prince WIN $8.00 (1 Unit)
(13) Superfabulistic WIN
$2.90 (2 Units)
