Warwick Farm Racing Tips: Wednesday, May 21st 2025
Race 4: Asahi Super Dry BM72– 2110m – 2:35pm (AEST)
(1) Black Run $4.80: 4YO Gelding who looks to be quite the honest type. He was sound last start on the heavy deck finishing 3rd over 1800m. Looks as though he will appreciate the rise in trip and has shown he can run on the wet track. Need to lug top weight, but gets a 2kg claim. Chance.
(6) Junebug $5.50/$2.10: 5YO Mare who gets my top pick as she loves the weather effected tracks. She has been sound in her last two runs and must be considered for this. Draws a nice alley and gets a 2kg claim engaged. Will be in the finish.
(7) Knights Armour $5.50/$2.10: 6YO Gelding who has been racing nicely and gets out to 2100m now where he is a 4 x winner from 5 attempts. Proven on the wet track and will be rock hard fit for this. Gets in super light with Prag riding and claiming 3kg. Draws well and looks to be able to play a role. Goes well.
(6) Junebug E/W
$5.50/$2.10 (1U/2U)
Race 6: Drinkewise Mile BM72 - 1600m – 3:45pm (AEST)
(1) Naval Commission $5.50/$2.10: 5YO Gelding who was pretty ordinary last campaign, but seemed to return in good order finishing second behind NO DRAMA in a BM78 over 1550m. Drops back in grade now, draws well and gets a nice booking of J-Mac. Terrific wet track record, proven second up and likes this track. Has a lot of positives.
(6) Sounds Unusual $4.20: 4YO Gelding who boasts a tidy record and was terrific in his first up run this prep motoring home to finish second. Will only be improving off that effort and will have plenty of followers for this. Danger.
(7) Autumnmation $10.00/$2.90: 4YO Mare who was only 2.5L off Sounds Unusual last start. She gets a nice weight swing in her favour now and gets a heavy deck where she is 1 from 1. Draws a nice alley and is already $17 into $10 in the early market. She rates well and looks to be a nice roughie here. Happy to have a small play.
(7) Autumnmation E/W
$10.00/$2.90 (0.5U/1.5U)
Race 7: Tab BM72 – 1300m - 4:20pm (AEST)
(1) Little Cointreau $5.50: 5YO Gelding who hasn’t been all that bad in his two return runs finishing 4th on both occasions. He has been freshened up for this and has to be considered on the wet track and with the 2kg claim bringing him back to 60kg. Value pick.
(4) Llanddwyn $10.00/$3.00: 4YO Mare who hasn’t been racing up to her best of late, but we know she is capable of winning races like this. She has a nice record on the heavy deck and will only be improving off that last start effort. Gets a rise in trip and J-Mac gets the booking. Nicely rated and her best is good enough. J-Mac will be giving her the best chance. Blow out hope.
(7) Lady Boss $7.00/$2.40: 4YO Mare who has been racing well of late in much tougher company. Drops back to 1300m and back to BM72 grade. She has some handy form lines coming into this. She draws pole position and gets in light with Roper claiming 2kg. Proven wet tracker, gone close over this trip previously and is rock hard fit. Looks to be a great each way bet.
(7) Lady Boss E/W
$7.00/$2.40
