Warwick Farm hosts midweek racing in New South Wales on Wednesday with a seven-race card to get stuck into. The first jumps at 2:20pm AEDT and is one of two Maiden races on the program with the remaining five all being Benchmark 72 Handicaps. The rail is out +5m from the 1000m until the winning post, and +3m for the remainder. They will race on a Good track with temperatures expected to be around 35 degrees on race day.

Warwick Farm Racing Tips: Wednesday, February 18th 2026
Race 3: Ole Kirk @ Vinery Stud Handicap 1000m – 3:30pm (AEDT)
(1) Kimberley Secrets is looking to break a run of four straight second placings as the Nick Olive-trained six-year-old mare drops back to the 1000m, a distance where she has won three times from three attempts. At her past four runner-up performances, she has finished less than three-quarters of a length from the winner. Should be prominent on the speed from barrier four as jockey Coriah Keatings claims 3kg to get the mare back down to 57kg.
(3) Nazwah is the raging hot favourite at $1.95 and it’s easy to see why when the three-year-old filly has won two of her three career starts. Tommy Berry retains the ride on the Peter Snowden-trained filly, and they clash with Straand Beauty once again, following a narrow 0.22-length margin over course and distance. Will be hard to hold out.
(2) Straand Beauty will try and turn the tables on Nazwah and barrier two will help the gelding’s cause. His form this prep has been good and he deserves a victory. Expecting one of the top three in the market to salute here.
(1) Kimberley Secrets WIN
$6.00 (1 Unit)
Race 4: Kia Ora Bloodlines To Headlines Handicap 1400m – 4:05pm (AEDT)
(8) Sarrismo is a four-year-old gelding that usually fires when fresh, winning both first-up races in his career. He has had two barrier trials to get him ready for this assignment and should lead for a long way from barrier four with Dylan Gibbons in the saddle. Around $4 is a nice price for Sarrismo in this event.
(3) Crossbow is first-up for Chris Waller and the three-year-old gelding showed plenty of ability last prep, winning a 3YO Benchmark 70 Handicap at Flemington. At his last start before a spell, he tackled the Listed Exford Plate (1400m), running ninth. May need the run but on ability, Crossbow is right in this.
(6) Tarzing is a stablemate to Crossbow and tries to make it a hat-trick of wins to start his career. He has saluted at Seymour and Geelong and should be thundering home in this company.
(8) Sarrismo WIN
$4.00 (1.5 Units)
Race 5: Hyland Race Colours Handicap 1600m – 4:40pm (AEDT)
(5) Decorum is a three-year-old colt for trainer Michael Freedman and he has won his past two starts, including a comfortable 1.25-length victory over 1400m at the track. Steps up to the mile which doesn’t look any problem. Hopefully he doesn’t get too far back from the inside gate, because if he is close enough, he can zoom past them in the straight. Looks to have plenty of upside.
(1) Tazima had excellent form last preparation with a pair of third placings in Benchmark 78 Handicaps. At his return, he was sixth at Caulfield after settling last. Found the line well and he is going to want further than the mile but should still run well here.
(2) Lancelot Du Lac can lead for Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott. He was a winner over course and distance two starts ago before finishing third last time out at Randwick. This looks easier and has strong claims.
(5) Decorum WIN
$2.00 (2.5 Units)
