The Stradbroke Handicap on June 6th is Queensland’s premier Group 1 horse racing event of the year and TopBetta are gearing up for the big event by holding one of its biggest sports betting tournaments ever!
The prize pool will be a guaranteed $10,000 cash and this year TopBetta has slashed the entry fee in half from $1,100 to $550 allowing more punters a chance of competing.
The change comes after a lot of interest from punters after last year’s event. Many wanted to take part but felt the entry fee was a little too steep. TopBetta hopes that by halving the expense it will allow average punters a great opportunity at winning big.
The tournament gives customers the opportunity to take on the big boys and take home a minimum of $6,000 for first place.
TopBetta encourages mates to work as a team and enter the competition as a syndicate. This will also allow more people to enter because the entry fee will be divided up between the group. For example, if ten mates entered together it would only cost them $55 each to be a part of this great event.
To enter you can purchase a ticket for $550 on the TopBetta website, grab your mates and create a syndicate or you can ‘satellite’ into the tournament by playing TopBetta’s special $55 tournaments, where the winner will receive entry into the Stradbroke tournament.
The best part about this is that TopBetta’s tournaments are not complicated at all to use. It certainly doesn’t take a horse racing genius to win. Competitors will be credited with $50,000 worth of tournament dollars into their account. Tournament dollars have no cash value, they are simply used for wagering in the tournament. Punters then have the whole day to bet either on win or place (no exotics) and turn the $50,000 into the highest amount. There will be a leader board updated throughout the day that shows who has the most money and it will be constantly updated throughout the day.
The top three players who have the most money left over at the end of the day will receive a cash prize.
The tournaments are exciting and very nerve wracking towards the end of the day. It will keep you coming back for more, regardless of the end result.
The tournament will be held on Stradbroke Day, which is June 6th 2015. Join TopBetta today and we hope to see you winning big in the TopBetta Tournament of the Year!
