Rosehill Gardens Racing Tips: Wednesday, November 12th 2025
Race 4: Captivant @ Kia Ora BM64 - 4:10pm (AEDT)
(3) Empress Of Japan: 4YO Mare who looks a nice value play here. She was pretty handy last start in this grade at Hawkesbury chasing well from midfield and finished second. She is likely to improve third up and remains in this grade with no change to weight. Draws a nice alley and Jason Collett is staying in the saddle. The rise in trip looks to suit off that second up run. Each way play.
(4) Long Legs: 3YO Filly who broke maiden last start nicely. She trialled the house down and then the first up run was terrific from a wide draw where she went straight to the front and never looked like losing. Draws a nice alley this time and will only be improving second up. Anna Roper rides and claims 2kg, but will still be 5.5kg heavier than last start which is the only query.
(6) Emballee: 4YO mare who saluted two back to break maiden at a very short price. Jumped to this grade last start and was well supported, but didn’t go on with it. Sound to the line and will likely be looking to bounce back on the quick back up. Sticky gate the concern.

Race 5: Star Turn @ Vinery Stud BM72 1500m - 4:45pm (AEDT)
(3) Just Glamourous: 5YO Mare who looks to be progressing and should be ready to fire third up. Was well supported in the market over 1400m in this grade last start, but the heavy conditions didn’t appear to suit. Back on top of the ground now and gets a 3kg weight relief off that previous start. Rates well and best is good enough. Value.
(8) Automne Tree: 4YO gelding who has to be admired being out of The Autumn Sun. He returned nicely and was held up badly at the 200m when a gap closed on him. Found clear air and hit the line nicely to finish third. Draws a lovely gate today and gets the booking of Jason Collett. Will improve second up and goes well on the soft. Happy to be on.
(11) Mortal Hale: 3YO Colt who finally broke maiden last start at Scone scoring by almost 5L. Will only be improving and will have plenty of followers off that effort. Watch the market.

Race 6: Myplates BM72 1800m - 5:20pm (AEDT)
(1) Sosino: 6YO Gelding who rates nicely here for this and gets in with a nice 2kg claim. Rock hard fit now and 1800m looks okay. Each way.
SCR (11) Strawberry Impact: 4YO gelding who looks ready to win now after another second place over 1500m at Randwick last start. Drops back in grade now and gets out to 1800m. Chased gamely in defeat last start which makes me think this trip will suit. Remains on the soft track where he is a 3 x second placegetter. Ready to win.
