Race 4: The Agency Real Estate BM72 - 1300m – 12:50pm (AEST)
(1) Codetta $6.50/$2.40: 3YO Filly who has a pretty tidy CV and has resumed nicely with a second and third from her two runs back this prep. She was caught wide lastest and did a good enough job to still find the line and finish less than 2L off the winner. She strips fitter again now being third up and gets in nicely at the weights with a 3kg claim engaged. Placed twice on the heavy conditions and a 3 x winner on the soft track, so no disadvantage being wet for her here. The rise in trip looks ideal after her two prior runs and will be hitting the line strongly. Value pick.
(7) Gatekeeper $4.80: 3YO gelding who debuted nicely winning his maiden over 1250m at Canterbury and would have gained some interest being an expensive buy out of Justify. Has trialled another two times leading into this and Tommy Berry steers for Waller. Drawn to effect and worth thought off the debut run.
(9) Sister Daae $15.00/$4.20: Roughie of the field who was scratched from Warwick Farm during the week to run here. She was terrific when resuming to break her maiden running on superbly to score. Draws a sticky gate, but no reason she cant win again. Watch for her late if she can get a nice run throughout. Blow out hope.

Race 8: Foundation Female Member BM88 - 1200m – 3:15pm (AEST)
(5) Cigar Flick $8.50/$2.80: 4YO Mare who hasn’t been the worst in her two runs back and will appreciate the heavy conditions now third up. Gets a nice draw today and albeit she can be painful for punters, she has to be a genuine hope here. Value.
(8) World Alliance $6.50/$2.40: 5YO Gelding who is the $6.50 favourite in the early market and after his last start performance im sure he has gained plenty of followers. Held up late last start, but once he got out he launched impressively and won by a length. Proven winner on the heavy track looks capable of another win here.
(14) Dollar Magic $7.50/$2.70: 6YO Mare who has also been painful for some punters as she finds it hard to win, but is very honest in always being around the mark and not beaten by far. Fitness will be peaking now third up and has had a trial since her second up run and goes well over this track. Genuine value play.

Race 9: Precise Air Winter Stakes LISTED – 1400m - 3:50pm (AEST)
(1) Robusto $8.50/$2.80: 5YO Gelding who returns to Sydney after running in the Stradbroke first up. He was pulled up out of that race, so happy to forgive that effort. We know he is capable of much better and this looks like a much easier affair. Gets the pole position and Josh Parr steers for Bjorn Baker which has been a dangerous combo in the past. Rates well and expect improvement second up. Value.
(2) Welwal $8.00/$2.50: 6YO Gelding who continues to improve this prep and finished only half a length behind Headley grange last start over 1400m. That form ties in nicely for this now. Tommy Berry stays in the saddle which boosts confidence and he is 1 from 1 on the heavy track. Draws okay and looks a genuine chance at odds.
(10) Thunderlips $4.60: 4YO Gelding who continues to prove he is a talented type. We tipped him last week and he was terrific to the line to score. Faces a much tougher task again here, but continues to stand up to the challenges and races well. No reason he cant win again. Loves the wet boosts confidence.
