Rosehill Racing Tips: Saturday, August 30th 2025
Race 3: Bankstown Sports BM78 – 1500m - 12:55pm (AEST)
(1) Sacred Rocks: 5YO Mare who we have been on for her last two starts and she had no luck after being caught wide throughout and then bounced back last start, but the heavy conditions were probably not ideal for her. She gets back onto the soft and should be rock hard fit now. Early market support suggests the stable are still bullish. On top.
(7) Amreekiyah: Equal favourite here and she deserve to be with the 3 wins from 4 starts to her name. Heavy conditions were once again probably not her ideal conditions, but not far away. Drawn nicely and will be stripping fitter.
(8) Sister Daae: 4YO mare who is equal favourite and beat home her rivals last start in an improved effort. J-Mac gets back into the saddle and has to be considered once more.
(1) Sacred Rocks
$4.00 (1.5 units)
Race 5: Wests Group Macarthur Derby – BM78 – 2000m - 2:05pm (AEST)
(1) Travolta: Honest 5YO gelding who has been running well. Won nicely two back and then was solid in defeat most recently. Gets in okay after the 3kg claim and handles the wet well. Will have admirers.
(3) Amusing: 4YO Mare who has won three in a row and has looked to be improving each run. J-Mac stays on and with her wet form being terrific she must be on top once again. Draws pole position and looks ready for 2000m no problem. Not jumping off now.
(11) Tazima: 5YO Gelding who has continued to improve this campaign and got the chocolates impressively last start winning by 2L. Tougher now, but proven winner over this trip and has been building nicely. Can go on with it.
(3) Amusing
$3.90 (2 units)
Race 8: Smithfield RSL San Domenico Stakes (GROUP 3) - 1100m – 3:50pm (AEST)
(2) Rivellino: 3YO Colt who was enormous in his first campaign stringing together three solid wins against some handy types. He than tackled group one company and was far from disgraced. Expecting him to have only developed further and will be stronger this campaign. Has to be considered at the price and with the ideal draw.
(5) Wodeton: 3YO Colt who had quite a bit of weight on his shoulders last campaign with the expectation of just winning each race. He was sound in all his starts and competed at top level no problem. Expecting him to be more mature now and his trials have been handy. Drawn well and J-Mac is sticking on which boosts confidence. On top.
(7) Raging Force: 3YO who has been putting on a clinic winning his last three starts with big gaps to his rivals. He has had 2 months off now, but trialled nicely last week leading in. Remains at 1100m which looks ideal and with the handy draw he looks every chance. Tougher here though.
(5) Wodeton
$3.00 (2.5 units)
