Rosehill hosts a 10 race card on Saturday with the Drinkwise Rosebud, Captivant @ Kia Ora Handicap as the two features on the card. The program will once again be a tough one with the heavy conditions remaining in place and hopefully we see the event go ahead after last weeks meeting at Randwick being abandoned due to bad weather. The first race commences at 11:35am and the last concludes at 4:55pm AEST. The rail is out 1m and Conditions are set to be HEAVY. watch and monitor.

Race 4: The Agency Real Estate BM78 – 1400m - 1:20pm (AEST)
(1) Pippe Beach $6.50/$2.10: 5YO Mare who dropped back to this trip last start on these conditions and hit the line intently to only miss narrowly. Remains at this trip and stays on the heavy track where she does her best work. James McDonald gets back on top and with the pole position she looks a great value play.
(2) Sacred Rocks $6.00/$2.00: Talented 5YO Mare who had been racing in career best form before having a horrible run last start from the wide draw. She was well supported in the market, but had nil luck. Happy to forgive that run and on the three runs prior she looks to be another top chance. Untested on the heavy, but proven winner on the soft. 2kg claim helps again.
(8) Tuileries $3.50: 4YO Mare that has been bullish, but failed to fire first up when backed into $1.60. Expecting her to bounce back here an the rise in trip should suit. Unknown wet track ability. Take on trust.

Race 6: Rosehill Bowling Club BM78 – 1900m - 2:30pm (AEST)
(2) Travolta $6.00/$2.40: 5YO gelding who looks to be an up and coming talent who is also a mudlark. His first up win was rather impressive in the wet and than last start storming down the outside of the track to win in style. Plenty of admirers after that. Healthy odds once again and looks to be every hope with a nice alley and a 3kg claim engaged.
(4) Hasty Honey $11.00/$3.30: 5YO Mare who is having a sensational campaign and was brave in defeat last stary with a large gap to third.Draws a sticky gate, but if she can get to the front early and dictate she will be in this for a long way once again. 3kg claim engaged and takes catching. Talnted type. On the up.
(7) Nana’s Wish $9.50/$3.20: 6YO Mare who we were with last weekend before the meeting was abandoned. She has been honest all campaign and had excuses last start being held up, but once out found the line nicely. Rock hard fit and with the extra week break she should be in even better order for this. Terrific wet track record, draws well and gets in light. Weight swing in her favour on opponents from last start. Value

Race 7: Captivant @ Kia Ora Hcp - 1400m – 3:05pm (AEST)
(4) Birdman $4.20: 5YO Gelding who resumes, but has trialled nicely on two occasions in the wet leading in. Proven first up and J-Mac for Waller appears dangerous. Probably prefer him over further, but first up he can run a race. One to watch.
(5) Highlights $17.00/$4.00: Roughie of the field who was impressive first up over 1300m on the soft at this track and then was disappointing next start on the heavy. Yet to score from 10 attempts over this trip, but the stable know what they are doing. Blow out hope.
(7) War Eternal $3.50: 7YO Gelding who was never likely first up, but has never been a fresh horse. Second up run was sound over 1300m on the heavy. He looks primed now third up for 1400m where he is a 4 x winner and a 2 x winner when being third up. Proven wet tracker and with a lovely alley and Jason Collett on board this looks a rather good bet. On top.
