Week 4 of the NFL season arrives on Monday morning in Australia with the picture beginning to become a little clearer across the league. Several preseason contenders have already stumbled, while a handful of teams have emerged from the opening three weeks looking capable of making some serious noise. With no teams on the bye this week, we have another massive slate to work through and plenty of betting opportunities across Monday's action.
Our three feature games begin with Green Bay travelling to Tampa Bay, where the Buccaneers will be without starting quarterback Baker Mayfield. The winless Chargers then head to Seattle looking to finally get their season moving before Sunday Night Football sees the Detroit Lions travel to Carolina to face the Panthers.

NFL Week 4 Monday Betting Tips
Green Bay Packers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
4:00am AEDT
Green Bay enters Week 4 desperately looking for a response after falling to 1-2 with an ugly 35-14 home defeat against Atlanta. The Packers have struggled to find consistency offensively through the opening three weeks, but this shapes as a significant opportunity for Jordan Love and company to get back on track against a Tampa Bay side dealing with a major injury at quarterback.
Tampa Bay is still searching for its first victory after falling 23-16 to Minnesota last week, with the Buccaneers now sitting at 0-3. Making matters worse, Baker Mayfield suffered a dislocated thumb in the loss and is expected to miss multiple weeks. Rookie Jalon Daniels is set to make his first NFL start against Green Bay, leaving Tampa Bay facing considerable uncertainty on offence as it attempts to avoid an 0-4 start.
Prediction: Green Bay hasn't done enough through three weeks to inspire complete confidence, but this is an excellent opportunity to bounce back. Asking a rookie quarterback to make his first NFL start against the Packers is a significant challenge, particularly for a Tampa Bay offence that was already struggling to consistently generate points. With the line sitting around a field goal, we'll back Green Bay to take advantage and cover on the road.

Los Angeles Chargers at Seattle Seahawks
7:25am AEDT
The Chargers remain winless through three weeks, but their 0-3 record doesn't completely reflect how competitive they have been. Justin Herbert continues to give Los Angeles a chance through the air, while Omarion Hampton has provided some balance on the ground. The problem has been turning opportunities into points, with turnovers and inconsistent offensive line play contributing to three straight defeats.
Seattle suffered its first defeat of the season last week, falling 33-31 to Washington to move to 2-1. The Seahawks turned the ball over three times in the loss, with those mistakes leading directly to 20 Washington points. Seattle will be looking for a cleaner performance back at Lumen Field, while getting its rushing attack going should be a priority against a Chargers defence allowing more than 100 yards per game on the ground.
Prediction: Seattle deserves to be favourite at home, but seven points looks like a sizeable number against a Chargers team that has been more competitive than its record suggests. Herbert is capable of keeping Los Angeles within striking distance, while the Chargers defence has created enough turnovers to make Seattle pay if last week's ball-security problems continue. We'll take the points with Los Angeles.

Detroit Lions at Carolina Panthers
11:20am AEDT
Detroit heads into Sunday Night Football at 2-1 and continues to look like one of the NFC's more dangerous offensive teams. Jared Goff has been particularly effective when opponents send pressure, while Jahmyr Gibbs provides another major problem for Carolina after another strong start to the season. The Lions have enough weapons to attack at every level and should be confident of moving the football against one of the league's more vulnerable run defences.
Carolina sits at 1-2 after picking up its first victory of the campaign against Cleveland. The Panthers have been aggressive defensively and are among the league's more blitz-heavy teams, but that strategy could be dangerous against a quarterback as experienced as Goff. Carolina's own rushing attack has also struggled to consistently provide support, potentially putting more pressure on Bryce Young if Detroit can establish an early lead.
Prediction: This matchup looks favourable for Detroit. Carolina's willingness to blitz plays into one of Goff's strengths, while the Panthers have struggled to stop the run and now have to deal with Gibbs and a powerful Lions offensive line. Detroit should be able to control the game offensively and force Young into obvious passing situations at the other end. We'll lay the points with the Lions on Sunday Night Football.
