Rosehill Gardens Racing Tips: Wednesday, September 30th 2026

(9) Low Key was narrowly beaten as a $1.45 favourite on the Kensington circuit three weeks ago. The winner of that race Threads has since won again on Manikato Stakes Day. That form line looks strong and the Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott-trained filly looks very hard to beat. There looks to be early speed in the race, so Tim Clark will have to assess how much early petrol he uses. On ability, Low Key should be winning this race, so happy to be with her.
(3) Iommi is one of many Chris Waller runners in the race and the colt finished fourth behind Saffron Veil at Canterbury. Nash Rawiller picks up the ride which is a huge tick here and he should be ready to run a big race.

(18) Affari gains a start with the early scratchings and the filly looks ready to break her maiden tag after three-straight second placings. The latest came behind Saffron Veil which looks a good form line to follow. James McDonald jumps back aboard and the filly should settle handy from gate four. If she runs up to similar starts, she will prove hard to hold out here.
(2) Barracks is a three-year-old Ciaron Maher colt that resumes on the back of two trials. In his first racing prep, he finished second twice and then ran fourth in the Listed Dalrello Stakes. A win should be around the corner for the son of Home Affairs.

Doomben Racing Tips: Wednesday, September 30th 2026

(1) Super Fair burst through late to defeat Iconify in their most recent clash and they will compete again as they step up 200m. Based on how Super Fair finished last time, the extra trip should suit the mare and the smaller field of seven runners means she should be close enough even if forced to settle last. Her last three runs have been good and there’s no reason why she can’t make it back-to-back wins.
(4) Iconify had every chance to win last time but the mare proved too good for him. He is stretching out into unchartered areas as the 2040m last start was the longest he has raced. It was still a good effort and he is capable of turning the tables with the right run.

(10) Southern Heiress was doing her best work late when finishing fourth in a Doomben trial over 1000m. She switches from Michael Freedman to Tony Gollan and the change in scenery may help spark the four-year-old who won her first two career starts and hasn’t won since in six attempts. Hopefully she can settle ahead of a few rivals and gets her chance to let down.
(9) Spiethtacular is a stablemate and she has been consistent without winning, finishing second at her past two starts, beaten less than a length on both occasions. She should roll across from the wide gate and settle in the first three runners. Looks to have strong claims.
