PGA Tour AT&T Pebble Beach Betting Tips

The PGA Tour heads to the Monterey Peninsula for the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro Am, the first Signature Event of the 2026 season and one of the most iconic stops in world golf. With a limited field of 80 elite players and full FedExCup weight behind it, this is where the early-season narrative sharpens.

PGA Tour AT&T Pebble Beach Betting Tips

Pebble Beach Golf Links, Thursday 12th - 15th February

Top Picks

Scottie Scheffler ($4.20)

Scheffler remains the standard. Eighteen consecutive top 10 finishes, seven of them wins, is not form - it’s dominance. He’s already lifted a trophy this season at The American Express and battled back to a top-three finish in Phoenix despite an over-par opening round. Pebble Beach has treated him well with top 10s in both of his previous appearances, and courses with smaller greens accentuate his elite ball striking. When Scheffler is dialed in tee to green, the only real question becomes whether the putter cooperates enough to separate him from the field.

Viktor Hovland ($31)

Hovland arrives fresh off a personal-best T10 at TPC Scottsdale and carries seven straight worldwide top 25 finishes into the week. Pebble Beach’s small targets reward pure iron play, and that plays directly into Hovland’s strengths. He has quietly logged two top 25s in four career starts here and looks poised to take the next step. If his short game continues trending upward, this could be the week he makes a serious push in a Signature Event field.

Value Picks

Jason Day ($38)

If you want a case study in course comfort, look at Day’s Pebble Beach résumé. Including his U.S. Open start here, he is 16 for 16 at the venue with five top fives, four additional top 10s and 14 top 25s. That is elite consistency on a demanding layout. He recently finished runner-up at PGA West and appears to be in strong rhythm. Pebble rewards creativity and patience, two qualities Day possesses in abundance. He is one of the safest value plays in the field.

Pierceson Coody ($66)

Coody represents everything the Aon Swing 5 is designed to reward. The lone 2025 Korn Ferry Tour graduate in the field qualified by finishing first in the early 2026 Swing 5 standings thanks to results of T13, T18, T2 and T10. That consistency has vaulted him into his first Signature Event opportunity. Pebble Beach demands precision and confidence, and Coody has shown both over the last month. With nothing to lose and momentum on his side, he shapes as a high-upside sleeper.

The Field

This Signature Event field is loaded. Rory McIlroy makes his season debut after capturing this title last year, while Chris Gotterup arrives as the FedExCup leader following his dramatic win in Phoenix. Justin Rose returns after his victory at Torrey Pines, and European stars Tommy Fleetwood and Shane Lowry begin their PGA Tour campaigns for 2026.

The Aon Swing 5 storyline adds further intrigue. Coody leads that group into Pebble Beach, joined by Ryo Hisatsune, Jake Knapp, Matt McCarty and Patrick Rodgers, all of whom earned their way into this elite field with hot early-season form. Every shot matters not only for this week but for positioning heading into Riviera.

Sponsor exemptions bring additional flavor, with Billy Horschel and Tony Finau among those looking to prove they belong in future Signature fields. The blend of proven champions and hungry up-and-comers creates a compelling competitive mix.

The Course

The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro Am once again features a two-course rotation. Players will tackle Pebble Beach Golf Links and Spyglass Hill over the first two rounds before finishing the tournament at Pebble. Both courses play as par 72 layouts measuring just under 7,100 yards, but their personalities differ sharply.

Pebble Beach is short by modern standards but brutally exacting. Small greens, coastal exposure and demanding approach angles place a premium on iron precision. Wind can turn even short holes into survival tests, and controlling trajectory is critical. Spyglass Hill offers a more tree-lined, traditional challenge but still requires disciplined driving and strong mid-iron play.

Winning scores typically hover around the 20-under mark when conditions are calm, but Pebble always has the capacity to bite. Patience, wedge control and converting opportunities inside 15 feet will separate contenders from the rest.
