Rosehill Gardens Racing Tips: Saturday, November 29th 2025
Race 4: Vale John Letts BM78 1800m - 2:20pm (AEDT)
(1) Meridiana: This mare is airborne this campaign. She kicked things off with a strong first-up victory over 1300m at this track. Second-up at Randwick over 1500m she was nothing short of a moral beaten—held down the straight and only getting clear when the race was over. We were firmly in her corner last start stepping to the mile in BM78 company, and despite being posted wide without cover for much of the trip, she knuckled down late and still put them away with authority, eased down over the final 100m. Fourth-up now and rising to 1800m looks a perfect progression. She stays in BM78 grade and gets William Stanley back aboard with a valuable 3kg claim, bringing her in at 58kg—half a kilo less than she carried in that dominant last-start win. Drawn suitably and maps to enjoy a far softer run in transit this time around. Looks a mare going places and should prove very hard to beat once again.
(2) Luskaire: 5YO Who has notched up a nice picket fence with 4 x wins on the trot. Capable of winning again, but has the tough task of 60.5kg which is 3kg heavier than last outing. Draws pole position which boosts confidence. Value.

Race 7: Toyota Forklifts Starlight Stakes 1100m - 4:05pm (AEDT)
(1) Front Page: A seasoned veteran who continues to hold his form remarkably well. He captured a Group 2 at Eagle Farm last campaign, beating a very similar calibre of opposition to what he meets here. His first-up run was sound enough to suggest there’s natural improvement to come. He thrives on rain-affected ground, which is a big tick, though it is worth noting he’s yet to score second-up—a small query. Still, his class and proven talent at this level keep him firmly in the mix.
(2) A Little Deep: This mare resumes with a tidy CV, and the standout stat is hard to ignore—she is four from four when first up, making her a genuine fresh specialist. Her two lead-up trials have been solid without being asked for much, and she draws to get the run she needs. At the price, she looks a major player and appeals strongly on an each-way basis. Expect her to be competitive.
(5) Zealously: He was sensational when resuming, smashing the track record and announcing himself as a horse on the rise. Second-up he stepped straight into Group 2 grade and was far from disgraced finishing third. With that platform under his belt, he’ll have supporters again—and rightly so. A genuine contender who continues to elevate.

Race 8: Gitani Stone Festival Stakes 1500m - 4:45pm (AEDT)
(4) Accredited: We’ve been in this gelding’s corner for both his runs this prep, and he’s been excellent in defeat—posting back-to-back seconds and finding the line with purpose each time. Third up now, he’ll strip fitter again and still has improvement to come. He handles soft conditions without issue and shapes as a genuine each-way play once more. Hard to knock his consistency.
(10) Yorkshire: The clear favourite and understandably so, boasting an impressive strike rate of six wins from just nine starts. He was well supported first up before pulling up with cardiac arrhythmia, which explains the below-par effort. If the stable has ironed out those issues and he’s back to himself, he’s the danger of the race—his best form is superior and he doesn’t need to improve much on last campaign to win this.
(13) You Wahng: The roughie of the field. She’s well-rated for this grade, owns a handy first-up record, and is proven across all surfaces. Two trials leading in give her a solid platform, and if she gets the right run, she could easily add value to exotics. A genuine blow-out hope.
