A rematch of their incredible preliminary final last season is on offer as this should be a hot contest with huge finals implications with both teams looking for home ground advantage in the first week of the finals.

AFL Daily Fantasy Lineup Tips: Round 15 Geelong vs Brisbane
AFL Cats vs Lions: Where to Attack?
With two of the top teams in the league going head to head on this slate it is always going to be hard to find opportunities to attack. Brisbane have been one of the stingiest teams in the league in recent years and this season hasn’t been much different. They really restrict opposition defenders with only attacking half backs or wingers scoring above league average on that end of the ground.
Geelong have been giving up above average points to key forwards over the last 10 games, which is quite surprising. They have also giving up above average points to general defenders and the designated kicker, which is understandable given the ball is typically in the Cats forward line. Where Geelong has really tightened up is through the midfield. Trending back to last season they had consistently leaked points to inside midfielders but over the last ten games they have held teams to over 3 points per game under league average.
Game Script – Geelong forwards and midfielders, Brisbane backs
AFL Cats vs Lions: Our Value Fantasy Picks
Brandon Starcevich ($7,520) is an option as this is going to be a very challenging game to find value. One area that does stand out is general defenders against the Cats and I love utilising a value back that aligns with a game script to find some salary relief. Stacking up Starcevich with a more premium Lions back makes sense and Starcevich has shown a solid floor as well as upside for a return at this value price in past years.
Jack Martin ($9,420) has been moved to half back for the Cats, which is always a plus for fantasy scoring. Last week in this role he racked up 76 fantasy points against Essendon and should have scope for bigger scores. In this role he worth rostering on a single game slate.
AFL Cats vs Lions: Our Mid-Priced Fantasy Picks
Rhys Stanley ($10,320) will likely take a bigger burden of the ruck duties this week. With Sam De Koning being out through injury, it is expected that Mark Blicavs will shift more into defence. Stanley has shown upside in the past as the sole ruck and he draws the Lions second stringer in Fort (who is priced a bit too high for his capability on this slate in my opinion). Stanley has shown upside this year with a 94-point game four weeks ago.
AFL Cats vs Lions: Our Premium Fantasy Picks
Gryan Miers ($13,850)... I love going to Miers in this matchup as the Lions will likely do a solid job on the Cats talls, but with Geelong over 20-point favourites it will be the smaller players who will help them kick a winning score. Miers has been in career best form with four straight scores of 106+.
Max Holmes ($15,390) has been in unbelievable form of late with five games over 108 points from his last six matches. This has included back-to-back scores of 131 and 146. He loves playing down at GHMBA and he will likely be let run free again as the Lions will likely put Dunkley to Bailey Smith as the first option to negate.
