Australia recorded a much needed dominant win over Bangladesh on Thursday night to move back up into 2nd place in their group. They needed the extra boost in net run rate after South Africa also recorded a massive win over Bangaldesh just a few days prior. They now have a nice buffer over the Proteas in net run rate, which means if they win against the West Indies, they should advance regardless of the outcome of England vs South Africa in the game directly after.
Bowling first, the Aussies were spectacular with the ball, rolling Bangaldesh for just 73 in 15 overs. Adam Zampa was man of teh match with a brilliant 5/19 off his four overs while Mitch Starc and Josh Hazlewood both chipped in with two wickets each.
The Aussies made light work of the run chase, claiming the win in just 6.2 overs as Aaron Finch belted 40 off 20 balls to lead the way. Mitch Marsh added 16 of just 5 balls as well.
The late cameo from Marsh was promising leading into the West Indies game. He adds another string to the Aussies bow with the ability to come in and score runs quickly in the power-play if they lose an early wicket. He averages 30.66 in T20 internationals over his career, but that number rises to 45 in two games against the West Indies. Back him to top score for the Aussies.

It's been a disappointing tournament to date for the West Indies, winning just 1 of their 4 group stage games and going down to the Sri Lankans by 20 runs in their last clash. The dynamic hitters in the likes of Gayle, Hetmyer, Russel and Pollard just haven't been firing on all cylinders as they have averaged just 127.25 runs through four games.
The bowling for the West Indies hasn't been much better. They have taken just 14 total wickets in four games, with their top wicket taker being Akeal Hosein with just four.
This will no doubt be the final game of Chris Gayle's international T20 career. He has had a horror tournamnet to date, scoring just 29 runs through three innings, but he gets a great chance to go out on a high against one of his great rivals here. I like the odds for him to top score for the Windies.

All things being equal, Australia should win this game. However, you couldn't possibly draw a scarier opponent than the West Indies when you factor in that it's a must win for the Aussies and the Windies have absolutely nothing to lose.
The Carribean outfit has match-winners across the board and while they haven't been in great form throughout the tournament, the knowledge that their tournament is done and dusted after this game might just allow them to play a little more freely here, which is when they are at their best.
The Aussies are as short as $1.30 in the lead up to this game. I think they win but I certainly don't like them at that price. This is a bit of a stay away for me. Stick to the player props instead.
