Race 1 at Cranbourne - 10.55 a.m.
Stephen Theodore trained Southern Road should have won last start when it was checked near the post and finished second by just over a length . Looks like the horse to beat and can find plenty of value eachway.

Verdict: Eachway betting - watch market, will come in.
Race 8 at Cranbourne - 3:00 p.m.
Quiet Control finished 4th last start over 1400m. Racing over 1600m today will suit the 6yo Gelding who has had 11 starts for 2 wins and 3 placings over this distance.

Verdict: Eachway betting.
Race 9 at Cranbourne – 3.35 p.m.
Stepping up in distance, three-year old gelding Fuming finished 4th last start by less than half a length. Locally trained and looks like a good type in this company. Strong play at eachway betting.

Verdict: Eachway betting
Race 10 @ Cranbourne – 4.15 p.m.
Beacons is in great form with a win at this track last start. Was very stiff when finished 2nd by a neck two starts back. Should really test this field. Quitely confident on eachway betting here. As always, watch the market.

Verdict: Eachway betting
