UEFA Champions League Matchday 4 Betting Tips
Atalanta vs Manchester United
Wednesday 7.00am (AEDT)
Manchester Untied bounced back from an embarrassing 5-0 loss to Liverpool with a solid 3-0 win over Tottenham on the weekend. They now sit in 5th place on the EPL ladder with a 5-2-3 record and will face Atalanta on Wednesday morning with a chance to pull clear at the top of Group F in the Champions League.
They currently have six points through three UCL games, with Villareal, Atalanta and Young Boys all trailing within three points. Man U claimed a 3-2 win over atalanta at home in their last Champions League but will be on the road against the Italian side this Wednesday morning.
Like the look of the overs here. The two sides combined for five goals in their last game and through 11 games in the Serie A, Atanalta have allowed 14 goals, more than any of the other top five sides. Manchester United have also allowed 15 in the EPL, more than any team in the top eight.
Liverpool vs Atletico Madrid
Thursday 7.00am (AEDT)
Liverpool returned to Anfield on the weekend after four weeks games in a row away from home. They squandered a 2-0 lead to Brighton to draw 2-2, now leaving them a full three points behind Chelsea at the top of the table. They will host Spanish side Stletico Madrid on Thursday morning, looking to improve on their five point lead in Group B of the Champions League.
Atletico Madrid are in a tight tussle with Porto for 2nd place in Group B, currently locked on four points, so a win here would be massive for their chances of advancing to the next round. They currently sit in fourth place with a 6-4-1 record in the La Liga, coming off an impressive 3-0 win over Real Betis on the weekend.
Have to side with Liverpool here. Their record in the Champions League since Jurgen Klopp took over has been outstanding, losing just one of their last 22 games in regulation time. Back them to get the job done at home.
RB Leipzig vs Paris Saint Germain
Thursday 7.00am (AEDT)
PSG sit atop Group A with seven points but breathing down their neck is both Manchester City with six points and Club Brugge with four points. It's a tight race, making this clash against RB Leipzig of utmost importance for their chances of advancing to the next round. PSG have been dominant in Ligue 1 this season, racking up a 10-1-1 record with 26 goals scored and just 11 allowed.
RB Leipzig have had a horror start to their Champions League campaign, losing all three games with a -5 goal difference. Their chances of qualifying for the next round are all but gone, so they might be turning their focus to the domestic season now, where they sit in 8th place with a 4-3-3 record.
Absolutely love the value of PSG here on the road. They have so much more to play for in the Champions Leauge and are in much better form. They have lost just 1 of 15 games across Ligue 1 and the UCL this season. Hard to believe they are $2+ here.
