Caulfield Heath gets a rare chance to host Saturday Racing at Melbourne this weekend as Good tracks seem to be the norm once again in the state. Race one starts at 12:20pm (AEDT) and there are 10 races on the program. It's just a moderate Saturday meet for Victoria’s standards with race eight being the best race of the day. The three and four year olds will battle it out and Stay Focused looks hard to beat for Phillip Stokes.

Caulfield Heath Racing Tips: Saturday, December 20th 2025
Race 2: Sportbet Fixed Odds Exotics Handicap 1800m - 12:50pm (AEDT)
(6) Sneaky Sunrise is a last start winner who is up in distance for this race. At Ballarat she had barrier 6 and settled 3rd before clearing away for victory. She has barrier 4 here and she should get a similar run in transit in this race. She is having her fifth run this campaign and she is 100 percent fit for the Hayes team.
(4) Ocean Beyond gets a favourable Good track here and he will be one of the best late. He ran in the Group 3 Eclipse Stakes and he is down in class for this race.
(2) Wymark has drawn inside and is fitter being third up this time. Prefers Soft tracks but is drawn to get a soft run.
(6) Sneaky Sunrise WIN
$2.00 (4 units)
Race 4: Magic Millions Digital Handicap 1500m - 2pm (AEDT)
(4) Roadcone gets his favourite conditions here because he likes running on Dry tracks. He has four wins and three seconds from 13 starts on a Good track and he has placed both times over this distance. He is third up here and he has won third up previously and he does race well with Luke Cartwright on top. He gets the claim and Roadcone will carry 57.5kg.Each-way is the play and I am hoping he settles in around 4th on the outside in this race.
(1) Presser likes this distance and is down in class or this race. He is over the odds at $11.00 and he did win on a Good3 at Mornington two starts back.
(6) Chest Of Gold has drawn wide in 10 and usually does roll forward. The worry here is that he gets caught out there and uses too much early speed to get near the front. He is 1 fro 1 over this distance though.
(4) Roadcone Each-Way
$6.50/$1.80 (1 unit)
Race 8: Magic Millions VIC 3yo & 4yo Classic 4:25pm (AEDT)
(1) Stay Focussed hasn’t won in a while but has raced in and won harder races than this. He has early speed and he should position up nicely in this race and he should be fitter being third up. Last week he ran 4th at Pakenham after leading but if he leads here there looks to be a slower tempo in this one which should assist. He has only placed once over this distance so Each-Way is the go.
(7) Steel Move came from midfield on the rails to win well at Ballarat last start. He is fit and will settle worse of midfield but will be running on. Jamie Melham goes on this time and she keeps 59kg.
(10) Recuperato stormed home to run 2nd at Caulfield last start and will go back again from barrier 8. She drops another kilogram and gets the services of Craig Willims in this one. She likes this distance and the Gelagotis filly can run well at her first try over the distance after recently looking good winning a trial at Pakenham.
(1) Stay Focussed Each-Way
$4.00/$1.60 (1U/2U)
