Race 5: Hyland Race Colours BM72 - 3:10pm (AEST)
*Scratched* (1) ABLE WILLIE – 4YO gelding who hasn’t been too far off the last two outings. Tipped him 2 back at a nice price when he finished third. Gets back to 1250m where he has won and will be competitive again here at a nice each way price. Goes well.
(4) KING OF NAPLES – The favourite of the race who should strip fitter third up now with Z. Lloyd claiming. Will be in the finish.

Race 6: Furphy BM72 – 3:45pm (AEST)
(6) MR KENNEDY – 6YO gelding who we have been on the last few times and he finally saluted last start after finishing second the three starts prior at short odds. Won nicely too last start and gets a good booking of Lloyd here where I expect him to go on with it. Draws well and will take catching.
(1) SMUGGLERS BAY – This fella boasts a nice record with 7 wins from 16 starts and has saluted twice from 3 second up runs. Gets a class drop, but will have to carry some weight. Sneaky each way chance.

(4) FULLER – Heads back to midweek racing after only finishing 2L off TOURISTIC at Rosehill last start. Proven over this trip and on the soft track. Jay Ford for Waller. Goes well.
(5) SOPHIAS MAGIC – Another consistent type who gets a class drop and can feature here. Third up now and gets a nice booking. Each way value bet.
(11) BOOTSCOOTER – Untested over this distance, but far from disgraced last start against tougher customers. Draws well and can figure at big odds.
