This Friday night of football for AFL Round 24 will feature two games again both with huge finals impact. Things get underway at the home of football, the MCG, where Collingwood will host Melbourne with the Magpies needing a win to hold onto a top four position and earning the second chance. Then we move out to Adelaide Oval where Port Adleaide will host Gold Coast. After last week it would be easy to assume the Power have totally checked out for the season, but if the Suns will be fighting for their finals life as they currently sit in 9th position on percetange (albeit with one game in hand).

AFL Fantasy Round 24 Friday: Where to Attack?
The stats are interesting in these two matchups. Starting with the first game, Melbourne have been leaking points to inside midfielders, general and key forwards over the last 10 games, giving up just over 2 points per game above league average to all three positions. This is setup perfectly for Collingwood attacking stacks given the Magpies are 22 point favourites. On the other end of the ground the Magpies have been giving up over 6 points per game to attacking half backs and wings, and over 2 points per game above league average to the designated kickers. This sets things up nicely for the typical game script of Magpies midfielders and forwards with Melbourne backs.
In the second game, the Gold Coast Suns and Port Adelaide have been relatively tough to score against over the last 10 games across the majority of positions. But after watching last week when Carlton absolutely drilled a lifeless Port Adelaide, there's certainly potential to stack up the Gold Coast Suns in this matchup.

Ben Long ($8,240) will be well positioned in this matchup against Port who across the season have struggled with key forwards. If Gold Coast get on top of this matchup as expected, he will be on the end of a number of chains and before last week's miserable performance against the Giants (which was consistent with all of the Suns team), he had been in top form posting scores of 92, 72 and 72.
Roan Steele ($6,070) SUB WATCH looks a solid potential minimum price play on this slate for the Magpies if he is not the sub. In his first full game he posted a 69 point performance against Carlton and assuming the Magpies get a big win here, I love getting salary relief including Steele in my game stacks. If you are looking to spend up a bit higher there's certainly value with Jeremy Howe ($8,850) who's underpriced returning from injury.
AFL Fantasy Round 24 Friday: Our Mid Price Fantasy Picks
Jamie Elliot ($9,280) has really fallen off a cliff from a fantasy scoring perspective the last six games averaging just 54 points. Typically that is the time to pounce as we know his 100 point upside is there and his price point on a two game slate had dropped nicely. I love this matchup for Elliott given the Demons typically lock down on the talls with their backline.
AFL Fantasy Round 24 Friday: Our Premium Fantasy Picks
Nic Daicos ($16,650)… big Magpies game at the MCG… say no more. The Demons have been giving up above average points to inside midfielders all season and I expect Daicos to take advantage of that in this contest. He has been up and down with tags being applied and while Melbourne may look to put work into him, I expect in what is a dead rubber for the Demons he will get on top in a big way. We all know his ceiling of 150+.
Connor Rozee ($14,880) is primarily a value play. Due to an injury return 60 last week we have seen Rozee’s price drop to under $15k and I don’t mind this matchup for players who rack up on the outside. Over the year, the Suns have been vulnerable to high fantasy scores and given the nature of where this game will likely go as Port have nothing to play for in terms of finals, I think there is plenty of scope for racking up points in a bruise free game.
