AFL Round 22's feature matchup this Thursday night is an old school all Victorian matchup with huge ramifications on the line. Hawthorn and Collingwood will clash at the MCG, the home of football. Collingwood have lost their coveted top spot and are staring down the very possible risk of falling outside the top two or even worse if they can't get the ship back on track. The Hawks, on the other hand, are really fighting for their finals lives currently sitting just 1 win above the 9th placed Bulldogs with a tough schedule to come.
As always this is all about the daily fantasy and this massive Thursday night game draws another massive $50,000 prize pool at Draftstars in their main contest. In addition, there are a variety of alternate contests:

AFL Fantasy Round 22 Hawthorn vs Collingwood: Where to Attack?
A really tough fantasy matchup to break down, which is typical when you get a clash between two of the top teams in the league. Hawks continue to be one of the toughest teams in the league to score against, conceding below average points across every position except for ruck over the last 10 games.
Collingwood, on the other hand, are giving up above average points to inside midfielders (barely, less than 1 point above the league average), but beyond that they also are holding all other areas of the ground to below average scores.
The focus for me in builds on this slate would be structuring sides around game scripts with the idea of loading my forward and midfielders for the side I expect to win and the backs for the opposition team.
Game Script – Collingwood forwards and midfielders, Hawthorn backs
AFL Fantasy Round 22 Hawthorn vs Collingwood: Our Value Fantasy Picks
Blake Hardwick ($9,670) has been playing more across the back line than up forward in recent weeks. This has resulted in two scores of 80 and 114 points from his last three games. If this role is to continue in this matchup, he offers huge upside potential at this price point and a go-to in finding value in my Hawks back stacks. If I want more saving, I do like looking to Tom Barrass ($6,000) at the league minimum as the Hawks tall backs should be able to dominate the air against the Magpies forward line.
Jordan De Goey ($9,640) is back for his second game back after a long spell from injury this season. Despite a low first up score, he did attend 46% of the Magpies centre bounces last week so it should surely go up. His upside is obviously huge, but with this role he is nearly a must play at this price point in a single game slate.
AFL Fantasy Round 22 Hawthorn vs Collingwood: Our Mid Price Fantasy Picks
Jamie Elliot ($10,230) is a play I love in Collingwood built teams. This is purely a matchup play, as the Hawks don’t have a great matchup for smaller forwards given how tall they are. We saw this first hand when these two teams met earlier in the season and Elliot got loose for 5 goals and 86 fantasy points.
AFL Fantasy Round 22 Hawthorn vs Collingwood: Our Premium Fantasy Picks
Darcy Cameron ($14,670) is quite honestly the only player with an elite matchup in this entire game. The Hawks have given up a truckload of points to the opposition ruckman all season and continue to allow an average over 8 points above league average over the last 10 games. Cameron’s scoring has remained consistent over the past three weeks with a 91, 99 and 106 and his price point has dipped nicely below $15k. Earlier this year he posted 108 points against the Hawks.
James Sicily ($12,800) is playing some of his best footy of the season finally, with a season high 110 points two weeks ago and an average of 92 over the past three weeks. I love him in this matchup against the Magpies has he will not have an opponent and will play the loose man role against relatively small forward line.
