AFL Daily Fantasy Tips 2025: Round 19 Sunday

July 19th 2025, 5:33pm, By: Jesse Penfold

AFL Fantasy Tips

AFL Round 19’s Sunday slate is the typical three-game slate that includes a couple of very exciting contests as we head towards finals. We get underway down at GMHBA Stadium where Geelong will host St Kilda. The Cats are part of the big log jam of finals teams and will be looking for a big win at home to help buffer their percentage. Then we move to the MCG where the top side in Collingwood will face Fremantle who are clinging to the 8th and last final spot. Finally, over in Adelaide we close the day with the best match of the day as the Adelaide Crows face the Gold Coast Suns. Adelaide are sitting 3rd and looking to chase down a home final with a big run home, while the Gold Coast are 6th and part of the aforementioned log jam.

As always, this is all about the daily fantasy and this Sunday slate draws another massive $50,000 prize pool at Draftstars in their main contest, plus more qualifiers for the $1 million AFL Star contest! In addition, there are a variety of alternate contests:

AFL $50,000+ Sunda

AFL $5,000+ Sunday High Roller ($150 Entry)

AFL $3,000+ Sunday Mini ($2 Entry)

AFL Daily Fantasy Lineup Tips: Round 19 Sunday

AFL Fantasy Round 19 Sunday: Where to Attack?

This is a tough day to target teams given the number of strong teams on the slate. The clear first point of call to attack is with midfielders against the Suns. Over the last 10 games the Gold Coast have given up the second most points in the league to inside midfielders, and the Crows playing at home are solid favourites in this contest. If you want to add to this as a big game stack, you can load in the Crows forwards as well as the Suns have been giving up above average points to key forwards and general forwards over this period of time.

The other team that is certainly worth stack considerations is Geelong at home against St Kilda. Geelong are the biggest favourites on the slate at over 5 goals, however it doesn’t stand out as much statistically as Adelaide against the Gold Coast, as St Kilda have been rather stingy for a team in their position on the ladder over the last 10 games.

Game Script – Adelaide midfielders and forwards, Geelong backs

AFL Fantasy Round 19 Sunday: Our Value Fantasy Picks

Shannon Neale ($9,290) has posted two scores of 85+ points from his last four games and will draw another elite matchup down at home this week against St Kilda. The Saints back line will be over matched in the key positions and they will put all their work into Jeremy Cameron as the first matchup, which will leave Neale with plenty of opportunities especially if the Cats get on top in this game as expected.

Darcy Fogarty ($8,810)the Crows key forwards will all have a strong matchup in this game, so there is a perfect opportunity to take some value. Fogarty is in solid form with back to back games of 80 and 75 fantasy points. You can also slide to Taylor Walker ($8,820) at a similar price who has also posted two 75+ point games from his last three matches. There is an obvious option here to stack the Crows forwards as well.

Leo Lombard ($6,000) – SUB WATCH – will be a big chance to start as a sub so you will want an option to switch too (which there are a number of in the last game). But with Touk Miller out of the lineup there will be opportunity in the midfield as Miller had been averaging just under 60% of centre bounces for the Suns. Lombard is coming off back to back games in the VFL of 107 and 121 fantasy points. If you are looking to take advantage of extra midfield time but want to spend up, look to Bailey Humphrey who attended 82% of centre bounces last week or Brayden Fiorini who is in great form.

AFL Fantasy Round 19 Sunday: Our Mid Price Fantasy Picks

Rhys Stanley ($10,300)ruck is a challenge on this slate with plenty of tough matchups. If you are looking for a premium play Darcy Cameron ($14,580) has the best matchup against Fremantle, however his scores are significantly impacted when Mason Cox is in the lineup. Stanley on the other hand, has what has been the best matchup in the league over the last 10 games for rucks with the Saints giving up over 13 points per game above league average. He offers 100 point upside and offers the opportunity to spend up in other positions.

Daniel Curtin ($11,190) continues to be on his break out run this season with two massive scores from the last three weeks with 114 and 118 point games. This week he gets an elite matchup for those playing in the midfield and offers a nice mid price range play for Adelaide Crows stacks.

AFL Fantasy Round 19 Sunday: Our Premium Fantasy Picks

Jordan Dawson ($16,320) is the premium player with the best matchup on the entire slate. The Suns are giving up an enormous 7 points per game above league average to inside midfielders, which opens up Dawsons ceiling here that has been in the 140 point range this season.

Tom Stewart ($13,640) should take advantage of the St Kilda team that has historically given up huge scores to backmen under Ross Lyon. Look to stack up the Cats backs in this matchup and start with Stewart who takes the majority of the Cats kick-ins, and the Saints are giving up over 3 points per game to the oppositions designated kicker.
