Our AFL Round 15 Saturday slate brings us a mega three games to work through for daily fantasy at Draftstars. We get underway with an interesting clash at the MCG where Carlton will host North Melbourne. The Blues are charging back towards the top eight and will be looking for another big win, while North have been playing a good brand of football in recent weeks. Mid-afternoon we head to the Adelaide Oval where Port Adelaide will host Sydney in a game that is probably least interesting from a fantasy perspective. Finally the hammer game Saturday night will see Collingwood host St Kilda at Marvel Stadium in what will be a favourite from a fantasy stack point of view.
As always, this is all about the daily fantasy and this Saturday slate draws another massive $50,000 prize pool at Draftstars in their main contest, plus more qualifiers for the $1 million AFL Star contest! In addition, there are a variety of alternate contests:
AFL $50,000+ Saturday at Draftstars
AFL $5,000+ Saturday High Roller ($150 Entry) at Draftstars
AFL $3,000+ Saturday Mini ($2 Entry) at Draftstars

AFL Daily Fantasy Lineup Tips: Round 15 Saturday
AFL Round 15 Saturday: Where to Attack?
Let’s start with North Melbourne. Over the last 10 games they have given up the second most points in the league to inside midfielders, the most to general forwards and the fourth most to key forwards. Meanwhile they have been relatively restrictive to back positions, which opens up the obvious game stack play of mids and forwards against them with the option of North Melbourne backs in the same team (although it should be noted that during this same stretch Carlton have been extremely stingy and have not given up above average points to any position on the ground).
If you are looking for better spots to load up defenders, St Kilda have been giving up above average points across the backline positions and this is a trend that has existed ever since Ross Lyon walked back through the door as coach. Alternatively, Sydney are also giving up above average scores to defenders which brings in Port Adelaide as an option.
Other considerations are general forwards against St Kilda (over 4 points per game above league average) or key forwards against Port Adelaide (over 5 points per game above league average, the third highest in the league).
Game Script – Carlton midfielders and forwards, Collingwood backs
AFL Round 15 Saturday: Our Value Fantasy Picks
Orazio Fantasia ($6,120) has long showed a lot of talent, but unfortunately his body has never really allowed him to display this in full force at the AFL level. Last week in his second game of the season against a sub-par opponent, he returned a solid 71 fantasy points and this was without kicking a goal. This week, as noted above Fantasia has another elite matchup for his position and the Blues are five goal favourites. So on a slate with no stand out value options, I like this play in Carlton stacks at near minimum price.
Isaac Quaynor ($9,980) has been racking up fantasy points in recent weeks with a three-game run of 100, 74 and 99. This week he has another top matchup for his role against St Kilda who have been giving up above average points across all back positions. Magpies back stacks offer a big edge in this matchup and if you are looking for an alternative option at this price point, Jeremy Howe ($10,690) is a player who is slightly higher priced but has a better history of fantasy scoring over his career.
AFL Round 15 Saturday: Our Mid-Priced Fantasy Picks
Charlie Curnow ($11,970) is the number one target for the Blues going forward in a game they should win quite comfortably. North Melbourne have been giving up over 4 points per game to key forwards over the last 10 matches and Curnow has shown a very consistent scoring run prior to last week where he had 8 games straight over 70 points. He has yet to hit a ceiling game yet with a high of 90 on the year, but the breakout is likely to be coming at any point and this is a matchup well suited to that.
AFL Round 15 Saturday: Our Premium Fantasy Picks
Brodie Grundy ($15,410) has recaptured some of his career best form in recent weeks from a fantasy perspective posting five straight scores of 111+ points. This week he rolls into the best matchup in the league for a ruck with Port Adelaide giving up over 15 points per game above the league average to the position. Just lock Grundy in, take the 110 points and move onto the next roster spot!
Josh Daicos ($14,780) has been flourishing in his role across half back in recent weeks with three straight scores of 100+. He is the number one distributor for the Magpies in that part of the ground and all my Collingwood back stacks using a premium will involve him. If salary allows I would love to link in Nick Daicos to my builds with Josh as well given the two love to look for each other especially late in games. Assuming the Magpies win comfortably against the Saints you can put the feet up in the fourth and enjoy a total fantasy point fill up from the Daicos brothers.
