The second week of the finals series for the 2025 AFL Premiership Season continues this Saturday night with the second elimination final seeing a cracking QClash as Bribsane host Gold Coast at the Gabba. The winner of these two will head to the MCG next week to face the Magpies. These two sides have met twice during the season with Brisbane getting over the Suns in Round 8 by 17 points before the Gold Coast stunned the Lions in Round 20 to the tune of 11 goals.

AFL Daily Fantasy Lineup Tips: Brisbane vs Gold Coast Semi Final
AFL Fantasy Semi Final Lions vs Suns: Where to Attack?
As always once we get to this point it is hard to find avenues to attack. The Lions continue to be one of the hardest teams to score fantasy points against all season. The inside midfield is the one area they are sitting right around league average, but they concede below average points to every position of the ground and specifically limit opposition defenders to some of the lowest scores in the AFL.
Meanwhile the Suns actually give up above average points to inside midfielders at over 2 points per game above league average over the last 10 matches and key forwards, also over 2 points per game above league average. Like the Lions, the Suns give up some of the lowest scores in the league to attacking half backs and general defenders, but slightly above average to the designated kickers.

AFL Fantasy Semi Final Lions vs Suns: Our Value Fantasy Picks
Bruce Reville ($6,690) / Sam Marshall ($7,510)
I expect one of these two players to be the sub in this matchup, most likely youngster Sam Marshall. But wait for the teams to be announced and look in this direction for the value option. Always a challenge in these single game finals slates, but Reville is the type of player to stand up in big moments and is coming off a 76-point performance in last week's finals loss to the Cats.
Sam Marshall on the other hand had some huge performances for this price point to end the season posting back to back scores of 94 and 74 fantasy points prior to being the sub last week.
Logan Morris ($7,710) will be the number one key forward target for the Lions in this matchup. As noted above the Suns are giving up over league average to opponents in the key forward line. In recent weeks he was able to post a few games with huge returns for this price point including a 73 point game against the Dockers and a 96 point game against the Magpies.
AFL Fantasy Semi Final Lions vs Suns: Our Mid Price Fantasy Picks
Cam Rayner ($11,740) is built for finals football and will likely pick up more midfield time this week with Lachie Neale out. He is coming off four games of 93+ points from his last six games and a 77 point effort in a losing final last week. If you are looking for cheaper mid priced play to Rayner I love locking in Callum Ah Chee ($9,500) in these big games as well.
AFL Fantasy Semi Final Lions vs Suns: Our Premium Fantasy Picks
Dayne Zorko ($15,330)… as noted above the designated kickers is a position that has been notching up above average fantasy scores against the Suns and that is Zorko for the Lions. He takes almost every one of their kick ins and as we saw last week where he posted a huge 130 fantasy points, he continues to rack it up in big finals. If you are looking for Lions in the midfield, I would head straight to Will Ashcroft ($14,890) who saw a big boost in his fantasy scoring with Neale out during the season.
Noah Anderson ($15,890)… the one area that the Lions concede right about average on is inside midfielders, so you can easily go to Suns at this position in this matchup. Noah Anderson and Matt Rowell ($15,800) are the clear options if you are looking for a premium play. Both performed well in their first final with Anderson racking up 100 points and Rowell 110.
