Women’s Cricket World Cup Final Betting Tips
Pakistan vs Australia, Hagley Oval, Christchurch, Sunday 3rd April, 11am (AEDT)
Australia
Predicted XI: Alyssa Healy, Rachael Haynes, Meg Planning, Ellyse Perry, Beth Mooney, Tahlia McGrath, Ashleigh Gardner, Jess Jonassen, Alana King, Megan Schutt, Darcie Brown
The Aussies have had a pretty settled line-up throughout the tournament so far. Of course the big question mark surrounding their make-up for the final will be the availability of star all-rounder Ellyse Perry. Perry has missed the last few games in the World Cup with back spasms and she is in a race against the clock to prove her fitness for Sunday.
Annabel Sutherland has been the replacement for Perry in the last few games, but if Perry is fit, there’s no doubt that she will come straight back into the side.
It’s not a stretch to say this Australian international contingent is one of the most dominant teams in the history of cricket. They’ve barely lost a game in any format over the past five years and a record 7th World Cup title would be just another jewell in the Aussies already glittering crown.

England
Predicted XI: Tasmin Beaumont, Danni Wyatt, Heather Knight, Nat Sciver, Amy Jones, Sophia Dunkley, Katherine Brunt, Sophie Ecclestone, Kate Cross, Charlie Dean, Anya Shrubsole
While Australia were basically a stone cold lock to make the final, their opponent was largely expected to be India, the team that has given them the most grief over the past few years. India were shockingly eliminated from the tournament in the group stage though, and England won four games in a row to bust into the top four.
They were impressive in the semi-final against South Africa, putting up 293 on the back of a brilliant 129 off 125 balls from Danni Wyatt. Her opening partner Tasmin Beaumont hasn’t been in the greatest form of late but will need to be back to her best if the English want to lift their fifth World Cup title.

Match Prediction
How is it possible to bet against this Australian team at the moment? They just haven’t put a foot wrong all tournament and have hardly put a foot wrong so far this decade. Since the start of 2018, the Australian women have played 38 ODI matches and they have amazingly lost just 1. Over the course of that span, they have a perfect 7-0 record against England. Back them to win the World Cup here and continue their run of dominance.
