NBA fans will be treated to a monster 11 game slate in the association this Tuesday, the 26th of November! The slate is headlined by a big Eastern Conference matchup between the Raptors and 76ers from 11.30am!
As usual, we have a full preview and betting tips for the key games of the day below.
NBA Betting Tips Tuesday 26th November
Philadelphia 76ers at Toronto Raptors (11.30am AEDT)
The Raptors and 76ers sit 4th and 5th in the Eastern Conference respectively, separated by just 0.5 games. Philly will be coming off a fantastic win at home on Sunday, as they defeated the Miami Heat by a whopping 27 points. Guard Josh Richardson was fantastic against his old team, dropping 32 points in the win while centre Joel Embiid had 23 points and 11 rebounds.
The Raptors have an 11-4 record to start the season and have won their last three games on the trot against the Hornets, Magic and Hawks. Pascal Siakam was big on the road against the Hawks on Sunday, racking up 34 points in the three-point win. The Raps will be back at home Tuesday, where they are 6-0 straight up and 5-1 against the spread.
The Raps are still without starting point guard Kyle Lowry, and while that hasn’t affected them over their last three games, Philadelphia is a different prospect. Tough game to call either way, so we are looking at the overs here. Combining Toronto’s home games and Philadelphia’s away games, the over has hit in 10 of 15 games so far this season.
Portland Trail Blazers at Chicago Bulls (12pm AEDT)
The Bulls had a great win in Charlotte on Sunday as guard Zach Lavine put up 49 points and become just the third person in NBA history with 13 three pointers in one game. The Bulls now sit in 11th place in the Eastern Conference with a 6-11 record.
Portland are dealing with a mountain of injuries at the moment, which is a large reason why they have lost their last four games in a row. They did, however, get Damian Lillard back from injury in their last game against Cleveland, which should help them immensely on the offensive end.
Portland and Chicago are both in the bottom half of the league in points allowed per game and combined, they have hit the over in 19 of 34 games this season. Like the over again on Tuesday.
Los Angeles Lakers at San Antonio Spurs (12.30pm AEDT)
Could the San Antonio Spurs be on the brink of their first losing season since 1996-97? After over two decades of dominance, the Spurs have started the 2019-20 season with a 6-11 record and currently sit in 11th place in the West. The Spurs snapped an eight game losing streak on Sunday when they travelled to New York and defeated the Knicks by seven points.
They’ll be at home on Tuesday against the 14-2 Lakers, who sit atop the Western Conference and have the best record in the NBA. The Lakers have won their last seven games on the trot and won a thriller in Memphis on Sunday as LeBron James and Anthony Davis combined for 52 points.
The Lakers start as 5-point favourites here, which is hard to look past given the Spurs struggles this year. Once the most uneatable home team in the league, the Spurs have started the season with the worst record against the spread at home at just 1-7 through their opening eight games. Back the Lakers here.
