NBA players received a well deserved break on Thanksgiving Day but they will be back in action on Saturday, the 30th of November as the league hosts a massive 13 game slate!
We have a full preview and betting tips for some of the key games of the day below.
NBA Betting Tips Saturday 30th November
Boston Celtics at Brooklyn Nets (4am AEDT)
The Celtics were victorious over the Nets on Thursday, winning by 11 points at home. With the win, they moved to 13-4 on the season and currently sit in second place in the Eastern Conference. They are 8-1 against Eastern Conference teams and are 10-5-1 against the spread this season.
The Nets were without star point guard Kyrie Irving in their loss in Boston on Thursday and will likely be without him once again for the return leg. Irving played the first 11 games of the season in which Brooklyn had a 4-7 record and in the seven games he has missed, the team is 5-2.
The Celtics have had the Nets measure in recent times, winning 12 of their last 14 games against their divisional rivals. They start as slight 3.5 point favourites on the road, and we are happy to side with them here.
Golden State Warriors at Miami Heat (12pm AEDT)
The Warriors have had a tough run so far this season, winning just four of their 19 games and currently sitting dead last in the Western Conference. They will be coming off a good win over the Bulls at home, where rookie forward Eric Paschall put up 25 points.
The Heat have been fantastic to start the 2019-20 season, racking up a 12-5 record and sitting fourth in the East. They have, however, lost two of their last three games, falling to the 76ers and Rockets on the road. They’ll be back at home against the Warriors Saturday before embarking on a three game road trip.
With road games against the Nets, Raptors and Celtics to come, the Heat will be desperate to pick up a home win here and shouldn’t be taking any chances against the seriously undermanned Warriors., who are still without Russel, Thompson and Curry.
Los Angeles Clippers at San Antonio Spurs (12.30pm AEDT)
The Clippers got out of jail on Thursday against the Grizzlies. After trailing by as many as 12 points in the final quarter, Los Angeles came back to win the game by two points and move to 14-5 on the season. They claimed the win without star forward Kawhi Leonard, who will be back in the line-up Saturday to face the Spurs.
The Spurs have won just one of their last 10 games and currently sit in13th place in the West with a 6-13 record. Their defence has been uncharacteristic of a typical Spurs defence throughout the decade, as they have allowed the sixth most points per game in the league at just over 115.
The Clippers are just 2-4 against the spread when Kawhi Leonard is out of the line-up this season. With Leonard in the line-up, they are 7-5-1 against the spread. They start as 6 point favourites here and we are happy to side with them against an underperforming Spurs side.
