The 2016-17 EPL season continues this weekend and there will be a lot of tired bodies as they will be backing up from midweek games. Our EPL Week 17 Preview and Betting Tips are headlined by a HUGE clash between Manchester City and Arsenal on Sunday Morning.
Crystal Palace vs Chelsea (Saturday 11.30pm AEDT)
The Eagles will face a tough week as they are playing Manchester United and Chelsea within the space of four days. The side will happy to earn any competition points out of this contest, despite both of them being at home. The side has been floating above the relegation zone all season and this is an area the team always seems to find themselves in. They are a side that will challenge a top team but they never seem to come away with any points.
Meanwhile Cheslea is on one of their best runs in the league and are undefaeted in their past nine games. The team earned a slim 1-0 victory at home against West Brom on the weekend but the three competition points add up the same regardless of the score line. We believe the time for them to stumble is soon, but it won’t be against the Eagles who are notorious for poor games at home.

West Bromwich Albion vs Manchester United (Sunday 4.30am AEDT)
The Red Devils have had a disappointing season thus far and if they are to push for a champions league spot next season they will need to begin to earn maximum points on the road against sides like West Brom. They have the most expensive squad in the league and this far into the season they should be finding their combinations. The side has been creating a lot of chances in their matches but they need to begin to convert them into goals.
Meanwhile West Brom would be happy with their current position on the ladder. They are competing against the top sides – a 1-0 loss on the road against Chelsea – suggests they are playing with a lot of team unity. We expect them to enter this match with a defensive mindset but eventually the Red Devils will find the required breakthrough.

Manchester City vs Arsenal (Monday 3am AEDT)
The blockbuster match of the round has the second placed Gunners face off with the fourth placed Manchester City. Arsenal had their usual stumble midweek when they lost to Everton 2-1 on the road. It always seems to happen when they get close to the top of the table. However, they did play the better football throughout the match and created the better chances.
Everton had a lot of energy in the match and converted on the limited opportunities they created. We believe Arsenal could have had one eye on this match as it will be huge in determining the possible winner of the league.
Manchester City will have their second game at home in this one but with less rest as they will face Watform on Thursday morning. However, the side is experienced and strong enough to be fit and ready for the game after just four days rest. Manchester City has slipped in big games this season and that is proof by their loss against defending champions Leicester City and current leaders Chelsea. They will be aware of that and switched on for this contest and that is why they will earn the victory.

Everton vs Liverpool (Tuesday 7am AEDT)
The Toffees will enter this match with a lot of confidence after their victory at home against Arsenal midweek. The side competitive throughout the match and despite the Gunners controlling the majority of the possession, Everton played with a strong game plan and created the two quality chances of the match that resulted in the two winning goals. We are predicting them to have another high tempo performance in this one as it is of course the Merseyside derby.
Meanwhile Liverpool were flying in top position on the ladder before a string of injuries has seen the side drop to third position on the table. They have won just one of their past three games and face Middlesbrough on the road on Thursday morning. It will be their third game in the space of a week and two of those matches will be on the raod. We are predicting the side to be a bit lacklustre and exhausted towards the end of the 90 minutes and this will ultimately cost them as the Toffees grab a late goal.
